Re: Unleashed progress thread. (Previously Line Rider C progress thread.)
Hey if anyone has a mac running 10.7 or 10.8 can you PM me? I need some testers for feedback.
No, I can't support 10.6. Don't ask, ever. It doesn't have libc++ support so I can't build for it. It's not worth my time as a single developer to try and support OSX versions that are more than one release old and you should be staying up to date anyway. It's not like it's expensive to update OSX, and it means I can do some great features for you like superfast saving and system support for Autosave and Versions.

Re: Unleashed progress thread. (Previously Line Rider C progress thread.)
Bump because of demo.
Here's a demo of everything in the simulation and also the flag. Note that the flag is now *time* based, not position based. This means you can use the arrow keys to move it back and forth in the editor, and when you draw a line the flag updates to show the change to playback. It's a bit slow in the demo because I used a debug build, but release builds are instantaneous. Yes, this totally changes the way you edit when you're focusing on a bit of track. It's just so much quicker to do things now because you're not constantly going into playback.

Also, I'm porting to Win32 now, and I totally surprised myself and found out that I can make it work on 10.6. It's not fully working, but it should be running on 10.6 soonish.

Starting to make a bit of progress. That's not OpenGL on Windows btw - it's DirectX. If I wasn't developing in a VM the antialiasing would work, and obv. I need to put rounded caps on the line.

What's up with those physics?

I dunno. It's normal for the most part, but it seems like sometimes, it slips. Bosh seems kind of bouncy, too. It really is awesome, though. Wells are waaay easier to make now, due to the new flag system. I've never made a quirk in my life and I feel like I could make an alright one. I'd love to see what one of the really good guys can do with it.

Wait, wasn't that weird position in beta 1?
Re: Unleashed progress thread. (Previously Line Rider C progress thread.)
I've been making an all-cripple track for the past few hours. My inversed-2nd position-crip-shoulder-flings are cash. LCC here I come!
