Definitely.
Re: Unleashed progress thread. (Previously Line Rider C progress thread.)
Okay so I've been getting some people in the stream to test this and a lot of Windows users were having issues. I've now done as much as I can to work around the extensions that I had been using, so it should run on any machine supporting OpenGL 2.1 (I'm no longer using any extensions ).
If Windows users could DL this: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/49905412/lru_win32.zip and try loading the included track file (Tail.lrt), that'd be fantastic. You should be able to launch the game, load the track and play it. If you can't, I need to know!
Also, if your hardware supports multisampling, LRU will take advantage of it. If not, you won't have any AA for now and things will look fairly rough. If you don't get any antialiasing when you run UL, tell me!
Mac users, every single Intel Mac except for ones with a GMA 950 can play UL (incl. Snow Leopard and maybe even Leopard machines), so there's no point in me getting you guys to try this, especially as the builds *with* the extensions had been working just fine before

Re: Unleashed progress thread. (Previously Line Rider C progress thread.)
I'd get antialiasing if I could draw lines.
In fact, not much besides the simulation controls seem to work here. Popover menu doesn't let me click on anything.
Hardware:
i7-2600 @3.4GHz
Radeon HD 6670 1GB
8GB DDR3
I'll try telling avast! to screw off for a moment and see if that does anything.

Never said you'd be able to draw lines aha. The only things that work in the popover are New Track, Load Track... and Quit Game.
Re: Unleashed progress thread. (Previously Line Rider C progress thread.)
I'm duuuuumb.
Anyway, getting AA. Great work, mhenr.
Also, would be a decent idea to store tracks in a folder under My Games if you aren't already doing so. Most other games do this and it really helps program directory organisation if it isn't flooded with 9001 LRTs.

Re: Unleashed progress thread. (Previously Line Rider C progress thread.)
I don't care where you store your lrt files - I just throw up standard Open/Save panels and let the user put tracks wherever the hell they want. The only reason I put the Tail.lrt file with the game is because I need to give it to you guys somehow lol.
Also, awesome @ it running and you getting AA.

Re: Unleashed progress thread. (Previously Line Rider C progress thread.)
It's running at 60fps for me and I'm getting AA.
Re: Unleashed progress thread. (Previously Line Rider C progress thread.)
I'm able to start Unleashed, click load, select a tail.lrt, and load it, and the editor shows up but the track and bosh is invisible. I can press play at the track seems to run, but I can't see it. I'm guessing it's running because of the spedometer working. It goes up, peaks at 5.711, then at 7.183, 8.276, then 12.71, then it just keeps going up a few seconds after (which I'm assuming is just Bosh falling of the track).
EDIT2: I had to rollback my driver right after I posted this, so the display adapter is actually version 8.753.2.0, still same problem

No matter what the settings for anti-aliasing in the NVIDIA Control Panel are, Bosh looks like this for me:

That's because your AA settings in the Nvidia control panel don't affect the AA settings for the game...
Re: Unleashed progress thread. (Previously Line Rider C progress thread.)
I'm getting a similar thing to what Shotoku's saying, methinks. All of the menu buttons seem to work, but when I load the track, nothing seems to come up.

That *is* antialiased, just not at 8x. Once I get a settings panel in the game I'll let you configure that - it looks far nicer at 8x but not every card supports it so for these testing builds I've set it to 4x.

The icons aren't exactly pretty atm, I need to work on them a bit.

@Opal & Sum, Glad I'm not the only one having that problem.
@Mhenr I messed with my drivers again, this time getting the latest one for my card (since I found that it can now support what I needed an older driver for), so even with the most updated graphics stuff for mine, it still has the same problem as Opal, Sum, and I are having.
Recap of my graphics:
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 Series
Graphics Memory = 1534 MB
Driver version = 8.970.100.7000
Monitor = 1366x768
with DirectX 10.1

Okay, I think I've fixed it. You'll now get an error message if there's anything wrong that would stop you from playing the game.

Are you going to build in an automatic update feature into the application?
Also, will there be interpolation toggle?
