ZNF's XY Maze (Two challenges, Twice the amount of fun!)

ZNF's XY MAZE

Hi all you maze enthousiasts out there, I have a nice maze for you! You can scroll a bit down and look at it below or just download the >.sol<. It's a maze only consisting out of XY lines and it is quite big and that means more fun!

Objective: Get from start to finish as fast as possible.

Rules:

• Bosh must stay on the sled, including at the end.
  
• You cannot delete ANY maze lines, including the green ones. (If you're in 6.7, press Shift+Backspace when accidently deleting one)
  
• The start point must remain within the green box (this means no red can be out of the green box)
  
• You're done when he reaches the end, marked with the cross. Your time will be clocked at the time Bosh is fully inside the box (stall bosh afterwards please)
  
• The entry must be made in FP10 if you're using a Mac, but you should just install it anyway just because I want you to.
  
• Do NOT post or publish any .sols or movies or tell anyone your time until after entries are closed (or you will be disqualified)
  
• You can use only blue lines. (and if that's to easy for you, try the Second Challenge)
  
• SECOND CHALLENGE: Use only blue X and Y lines. If enough people do this I might be able to make a seperate scoring board + give seperate trophy's away.
  
• If you use a shortcut, I will personally applaud you for doing something which I think is impossible and I'll try to come up with something special, but you don't get to take the normal trophy(s) that I hope I can give away to the real winner(s).

How to Enter:

• When you finish your entry, PM ME the .sol
  
• You may re-submit entries as many times as you like.
  
• When I post in here saying entries are closed, then you can publish videos, post your time etc.
  
• I will keep an updated "leaderboard" with the entrants in order of placement, but not showing their actual amount of lines.

@ FP 10, that's only an issue for Macs .

Oh, ok, w/e. I'm doing everyone a favor with it anyway, you should just update FP whenever you can, nothing wrong with doing that. It should only work better! =o

@raf - it still applies - If I make a track in FP9 I don't think it will work on a PC

also, you say the second leaderboard is "blue xy" but that's also the extra challenge?

Well, I kinda see the XY blue thing as an extra challenge, but it's also the second challenge. I feel using only blue+xy lines mind be a bit to difficult for most people, I'm not even sure if I would be able to do it in a good fashion. So I wanted it as an extra challenge. To get more people in here I made the nice thread-eye-catcher thingy "Two challenge, twice the amount of fun". So people will check it out =p
But you're right that it was a bit confusing like this, so I changed it to SECOND (EXTRA) instead of just EXTRA.

You can choose, either All Blue + only X and Y or just use only All Blue. What is not allowed in any case are red lines. I'd like to see some quirky action in here. GO WILD!

znf your maze is constantly freezing my flash player when i run into the wall fast enough or save it freezes I hit a corner and it froze just now I know i would have line glitched to

Wait, I don't understand, is this the fault of my .sol? Or are you just trying to glitch and it doesn't work?
I haven't tried to make an entry yet myself, but if more people say that something is the matter I'll try to make an entry myself.

Sounds fun! I think I'll spend some of the precious time I have on this earth working on a entry!

And sheldon, I PM'd you back, something's wrong with the .sol, it's not playing properly for me (maybe you have a Mac and/or are using a different version of Line Rider?)

Ok, so I have maybe a little problem. I really can't view Sheldon's entry. For now he can send a video of the track recorded in 6.7 (with the timer), but yeah, I really hope I can just get .sols of everyone, because otherwise there is more possibility to cheat and stuff. I kinda hope sheldon is going to be able to make a better entry which I am going to be able to get the .sol working for, but for now I'm going to wait for another entry from someone else and I'm going to pray it works (otherwise it's my fault, and I really don't know what I could fix... =s )

he says it fails on the fling in fp 9 just like u znf I am thinking you are mistaking the flash player u are opening it with

I can't mistakenly use a different flashplayer. It's just installed on your PC. Or do you mean MacromediaFlashplayer, because I have the 8th version of that.

So I have Macromedia Flash Player 8 and Flashplayer 10.1 and I tried it in 6.1, 6.3 and 6.7 and for me it all fails at that fling and I've never had any problems before with opening .sols except for maybe when the other person had a Mac or something.

you need to right click the lr standalone and select open as then click flash player 10 trust me

macromedia flash and flash are the same. What's different is that you might have flash player 10 installed on your browser but you're using flash player 8 standalone. use this link:

Well, to me they aren't, or weren't, or w/e. I tried to ask Rafael about this in another thread, but I guess he didn't understand me, I have always been using Macromedia Flash Player 8 and Flashplayer 10. I type it like this, because this is what the programmes say they are named etc. Anyway, I now used your link and everything works and even Sheldon's entry works now, so I should be all set to look at people's entries.
Going to update the thread in a bit, watching all the entries now.

Hmm... Ima try the non-XY challenge since I see that MJ entered for XY...
