New rule for maze contests (idea)
I've been on the fantastic contraption forums some, and they have similar competitions like these. Here is a variation on a rule they implemented for pretty much every competition:
- Nobody may say anything about their time or publish a movie or .sol until after the contest is over, and they have to Pm the contest runner their .sol.
This way people can't copy each other, they have to come up with every speed technique on their own. Afterward, the contest runner can publish the times, .sols, and maybe make movies (or they could send let the entrants publish their own movies)
You could even have a "leaderboard" - a list of all the people who have entered a .sol, IN ORDER based on the time they achieved. This way, you can see how well you're doing comparatively after you enter
Just an thought

yeah, we actually did this for most big LR contests too. Remember the All Blue contest Chih made back when I joined IRTL (it was the reason I joined IRTL, to join that contest XD)
Everyone was supposed to release their tracks not a minute earlier then a specific date, so a burst of awesomeness would rain down upon everyone on that date

You can post there, it's going to be a gigantic collection of Obstacle Coursers (OC's, aka mazes) and the Olympic kind of challenges (Now Line Rider Sports) like the High Jump etc. I am going to keep a list of the current leaders on every challenge and I'll explain later about rep there. It's not yet done, but I wanna do something else and put the thing out in the open to receive some comments and check how enthousiastic people will be.
