While I agree with AC's recent post, stating that the old members need to be more active so that there is more to talk about, and thus have a more active community, I have an idea for attracting new members. Basically, we need to get on TechDawgs youtube channel, whether him doing it, or him giving someone trusted the password. Then, in every description where it says "Iridethelines.com" you edit it to "weridethelines.com" and in every video that says "by IRTL or Iridethelines" you annotate over it saying WRtL or Weridethelines. I'm sure at least 50 new people each day see one of his line rider tracks and go "damn, Irtl is down, I wanted to join." If we redirect them and edit the parts that say Irtl to wrtl, people can join here the same way they would have joined Irtl.

Tl;dr: Change the "IRtL" Advertisements to "WRtL" Advertisements on big youtube channels, namely TechDawg's. He is alive, and either he or someone trusted can do it.

I realize it's been done before, also fail on my part with ACs thread.
But TechDawg has been here recently and since then I've not seen this. Maybe some ideas similar, but not specifically this.

EDIT: Also, if it's been suggested before, why has no one taken action. Everyone wants to change things but no one does anything about it >.>

^We either get too lazy, forget, or don't have the abilities to do so. Plus, 99% of the people that will join, will actually join, stay for a day and realize the only threads we post in are "How to get more members! Advertise on TD's vids!" and then leave. TD wasn't here recently it was months ago. This has literally been brought up like 5 times within the past month.

Votale aren't you forgetting TD's sometimes year-long absences at the original IRtL? Five months is pretty recent for him.

That still doesn't mean he's gonna pop up soon. Maybe he'll be gone for another 20. Lol you can't just say "

It's only been 5 months he's alive!!!"

There you go missing the point. I wasn't saying he was alive, I was saying he was active fairly recently. Does not equate to being active right now.

I made a long list of line rider videos that are still commented on and viewed, for people to go comment on them and have everyone thumb them up, but it went unnoticed and hardly anyone did anything

Well, you didn't read my post.
I realize "comment on the video for wrtl" has been done. This is better. This is changing the video or description, not the comments that some people don't read. Also, there's like 1 in the last month that's remotely similar, and that IS comments one, not a video one.

You all shoot me down because my idea was similar, without even considering it. The amount of people who actually watch the video is a lot higher than those who read the comments, which is why my idea would actually work. Don't just say "another advertise, fail kthxbai"

Aka.. It's basically the same exact thing, just yours is 10x harder because you have to find every popular user on Youtube (All of which are dead) and ask them to change their links... Awesome. Sounds easy.

Again I say, the idea has been had before. It's a bad idea. It'd attract a thousand 1-day members.

Every popular youtuber.. Or just get TechDawg back. We did it once, we can do it again. Plus people who have popular videos are still active. No, not the big ones like BHCS or Aqua, but still. And 1000 1 day members is a lie, on IRTL a 1000 members = 20 active members
