I think it's better then not entering, would be nice if people tried harder, but not everybody is motived/has time to enter in a/all contest(s). I myself am doing my best, but am struggling to find the time and am a bit afraid that I might not make it by the end of the month. Can always finish with some rubbish, but yeah...

Well my entry took me like 2 hours. I know sheldon can make one as fast as mine and if you don't have 2 hours to spare over an entire month I don't believe you...

I think they just are afraid of people judging them if they don't win which makes them not want to try.

Well, I hope this is not the case, because this contest is supposed to be for fun. I'm certainly not afraid of being judged, rather I'm afraid of the time I wasted on this (a lot, much more than 2 hours...) and then getting Gao to beat my ass royally anyway, haha. In any case, it's been a nice learning experience for me.

I'd be curious to hear how much time people spend on their entry afterwards.

I spent a week and a half on it, in 30 min-1 hour long intervals... I don't know if it was too much of an investment.

I think I have him already, but not sure. The not knowing is killing me (have sent my entry to OTDE). If gao is yet faster than me, my mind will do *poof*. Still have some ideas of how to go faster in some places, but it's pretty difficult this maze is so damn compact, especially at the end. Really loved creating my entry! Thanks OTDE for creating the maze and hosting this contest!
