visable contact points don't make track making easier. not being a goof and just knowing where the contact points are makes track making easier.

like when we have to record a track that requires chroma keying all the recordings have to be perfectly synced, so when you use the track recorder does the fps move at all or does it stay at a constant number? cuz when recording for masking (or chroma keying) sometimes when you record the fps will go down one for a second and then go back and that messes up the syncing.

Ah Ghost, you shouldn't have to split tracks. I'm doing optimizations for very large tracks, because you shouldn't have to care about that stuff.


Multiplayer isn't being tested at this time.

Oh and also, mhenr, is it possible that you can add a feature that makes a track go 90% as fast, or like 110% as fast and etc? it would be cool in case the lag ish still too big.

No - frameskip makes it play at the original speed. Those who've used it know it works well.

And I can't answer the one about BHCS's evolution because I haven't coded in the stuff that handles big tracks :P

When you got a high linecount and when you move the mouse it moves slower,
the whole things run like 2 times slower and you get terror scripts more often

I know that, but what fps do you tolerate until you call it lag.

I won't take anything under 35fps in 6.2 or 6.7, because playback gets too slow Sad
That's why I did frameskip in 6.8, because it's nice and normal Smile
