Track question Empty Track question

Post by jmcinvale on Mon May 20, 2019 4:41 pm

I have a rather long line rider track that is mostly a see what I can do and how long can I make it thing.

Two questions.

I use Line Rider Advanced beta 0.3 rc.

Is there a maximum number of lines?

Also I want to make it to where the track ends at the beginning so it can keep on going.

To do that would require making the last line make the guy on the sled be at the same speed and position as he is at when the track first starts otherwise the track will not work right if he is slower, faster or not in the exact same position when dropping on the track.

How would I go about doing that?

Suppose it's more trial and error unless there is a way to make it restart at some point or a way to make it just duplicate the initial starting position.

There's not a strict maximum number of lines.

Infinite repeat of a track is effectively impossible. It's been done once and requires the track to be created with that specific intent.

If you want to make the track repeat, you're probably better off doing it with video editing.

Also get off 0.3rc

Yes that would be near impossible.  Only way I could see actually doing it is if I had put the drop point on the track instead of slightly above it.

Think my best bet it to see just how large I can make it and what new things I can learn.

I could get off 0.3rc, but it works for me unless there's a good reason to move from it such as a bug fix or some other improvement.

It can break your tracks permanently causing you to lose progress. It's a very very buggy mess which is why I recommend upgrading

So that would explain why in live edit mode sometimes it won't act the same when the lines you just made are run normally.

I will definitely upgrade then.
