Activity in the LCC section!
Just basically talk about anything falling under the jurisdiction of the rules here, you LCC guys deserve to chill with the best of 'em.
Plus, that means that periodically, any of us non-old farts (rabid, me, whoever) can remind you guys to work on projects in a way that you're SURE to see

Re: Activity in the LCC section!
very old semi-sucky manual track that will be done and scened simple-ishly by ToC3: 63% of track done.
Although I am soooo slow at trackmaking. Added about 2 seconds/100 lines in 2.5 hours. ;_;

Re: Activity in the LCC section!
^ No offense or anything, but that's FAST. That is SPEED TRACKMAKING. You should do it slower if you want the best result. I have honestly spent multiple days getting a single line, several hours per day, before.

Re: Activity in the LCC section!
Oh, huh, I thought I was going slow. Didn't ZNF make KING in two days?
It's just one big bled nose manual, it's not like I'm doing an alt fling roll or something.
Maybe that's why I'm bad at making tracks. I'm not patient enough to do it right. That seems weird though, because I'm rather meticulous about my scenery and where it goes and often re-draw small bits twice or three times.
Maybe that's why you've never liked scening, you spend too long on each line
Come to think about it, if you spent that much time on your tracks, that would explain why I've never been good at quirk. I just don't practice enough.

^ THIS.
I do what I want. If a trick doesn't work I do another one. Spending days on one line isn't fun.

Re: Activity in the LCC section!
I was thinking that maybe people spend too much time per line on scenery tracks, judging from the extreme high quality of the community scenery project parts and other experiences. I usually do about 500 lines per hour once I have a plan in my head. If it's repetitive and the lines are small then I can do 1000/hr. If I'm using the pencil tool you can make that about 3000/hr
Maybe it's hard for people to realize that that 100-line section they're working hard to get perfect will flash by in about a tenth of a second.
As far as trackmaking goes, what are other people's normal lines per hour? I'm curious.

Re: Activity in the LCC section!
Planning scenery is lame. I do whatever I feel like, whatever comes to my head at the moment, and roll with it. Some people may not like that. Think it's too random, without putting any thought into the overall result. I don't care. Whatever makes it fun for me.

Re: Activity in the LCC section!
all i can say is my lines per hour must have been very low when making blue champion new tricks are hard to make perfect. So you can imagine it took me a lot of time making those 5500 lines.
But its very situational really, sometimes you can just shoot out lines and other times you get stuck.

Mhmm...
@ Rabid, let's just say when I'm inspired I make a track like Slumdog in a day. It's not that high-level-quirk stuff so I guess that's another matter altogether..
