Why is shipping a t shirt so goddamn complicated

If it's over 13 oz, including packaging, the best method is priority mail, which is $6.45 for under a pound and they will mail you the envelopes for free, and you can print the label. Sweet. Except T shirts are usually like 5 oz, and $6.45 is pretty high for mailing one t shirt.

Sooooo the cheaper option is 1st class mail, which would be like $2-4. But you have to buy stamps for this but the only way to find out how much is by weight... and you have to buy the envelope yourself at additional cost... and it's apparently difficult to order less than 100 envelopes at once online... UGH

So here's what I will do.
1. Get each person's order request and address down (and set aside their order)
2. Take them all to the post office and work out how much it costs to send them 1st class with everything included
3. Get them sent out however is best money wise

BHCS shipping them to me cost about $38 so with me sending him half that will be $19, divided by 8 people on my list will be $2.38. Shipping is who knows but will probably be about $5-7 all included. So my guess is the cost of a shirt should be under $10 if I'm not taking any of it.

I am somewhat nervous though, about sending off the t-shirt and then asking for money. Not that I don't trust you guys to send me money but yeah, I guess I don't trust you guys to send me money. I'm scared that I'll mail off a shirt and then someone will decide to just not pay me.

Would anyone object to me asking for $10 per shirt upfront? We could consider any excess fees that I charge (probably like $0-3 per shirt) for managing all this stuff and getting the shirts to y'all. If that sounds like something you'd like to crucify me for, I can work out exact prices, THEN ask for money, and THEN send them, but that will take a bunch more time on my end.

These shirts are taking up space in my tiny apartment and I want to get rid of them. Also I crunched the numbers and I have paid off expenses related to getting the shirts. So I'm putting them on clearance for people inside the US!

Yo I'll take the larges, destroying such a rare shirt would be a waste.

I was joking about tearing them up. I just chatted with her and the only ones she actually has a use for are the tank tops, she wouldn't be doing anything with the men's larges.

If you still want to take all the larges, I can fit them in 2 envelopes. That would cost $13.60 to ship, which is about the same as a medium flat rate box that I could fit them all in. (You'd only have to pay me $12 though under the clearance sale) Let me know if you want to do this. Otherwise they will just hang out in my closet for anyone who might want them.

BTW I never posted about the shirt I got months ago, but it's hella awesome! Some people recognize the game and be like "yeah I remember that, omg wasting time in middle school" and I'll be like "Oy I still play from time to time, that's why I got a shirt".

Also, the line Bosh is riding is disproportionate to Bosh
