Deveopers are indicated by this PIP bar: Meet the Developers Developer%20pip_zpsltui1r8m

Just want the current versions of Line Rider?

Line Rider: Advanced, Beta (Version 0.1.1) by @JealousCloud
Line Rider JavaScript, Alpha (Version 0.8.0) by @Conundrumer

Or, some more in-depth information:

fsk
AKA: Bostjan Cadez
Developer of: Beta 1, r5, r6, 6.1, 6.2
Key features developed: (not counting Beta 1 tools)
eraser, zoom, straight line tool, slow motion, zoom during playback, hotkeys, acceleration lines, scenery lines, scroll zoom, ghost flag, jump to flag/first line/last line/zoomed out/zoomed in, line snap

The creator of Line Rider, the developer of Beta 2, and the developer of 6.2. He has not been seen in the Line Rider community since 2009 but his builds remained the standards from 2006-2009. He created Line Rider in Adobe Flash.

@mhenr18
AKA: Matthew Henry, Mhenr
Developer of: 6.3, 6.6, 6.7, 8.0, 6.x, 6.y, 6.y.2, lrtools
Key features developed:
color eraser, XY snap, timer, speedometer, delete/undelete last line, slow zooming during playback, contact points, closer zoom

The old-school developer! This guy started developing in late 2007 and is most famous for developing 6.7, a modification to fsk's 6.2 that would become the standard from about 2009 to about 2012. He later released 6.x:

And 6.y:
https://iridethelines.forumotion.com/t8420-introducing-revision-6-y
which were considered standards 2012-2013 or so.

In December 2015 he created lrtools, A utility that converts track files between versions:

Kevansevans
AKA: @[senpai] kevans, Kaelan Evans, kevans, kevan
Developer of: v3, 3.2, 3.3, Beta 3 v7.4, 3.4, 6.y.2.k, 3.4.x, v4
Key features developed: flag lock, flag save, autosave, zoom indicator/jump to zoom, pause/frame step, fast forward/rewind, length/angle indicator, angle lock, preview mode, pencil dots, hit test, change line type/multiline

Kevans has been developing since 2011, and while his builds started out with simple features and/or as experiments with graphics added on to mhenr's 6.7, they increasingly got better and better. in 2013, he released V3.4, which quickly became the standard version. He continued adding features until summer 2015, when he left We Ride the Lines. His build 3.4.25 was the "Play Line Rider" link at the top of the site's front page until March 2016.

@JealousCloud
AKA: LoneVampire, alonevampire
Developer of: Line Rider: Advanced
Key features developed: playback scrubbing, line adjustment, live updating, music sync, momentum vectors, contact point breakage indication, lifelock, night mode, iteration stepping

In spring 2015, JealousCloud (then LoneVampire) announced he was working on a version from scratch. In July 2015, he released the alpha of Line Rider: Advanced, which took the site by storm.

In February 2016, he moved LRA from Alpha into Beta.

On March 2016, LRA replaced the "Download and Play Line Rider" link on the portal and front page.

LRA runs as a downloadable EXE/APP file on your computer.

@Conundrumer
AKA: TheConundrumer, David Lu, anon767
Developer of: Line Rider JavaScript
Key features developed: line select, onion skin, automated zoom, video export, smooth camera, autoload track/audio from url

In December 2011, Conundrumer released a project where he created Line Rider from scratch in Python for a class. Not intended as a replacement for any current version, and nobody heard from him for a while afterward.

But then, in December 2014, LineOnline was announced, as a planned website to create, collaborate, and share tracks in a new build of Line Rider. Then in spring 2015, an engine that would load and play .sol files and a redesigned interface were released. And then we finally got an alpha version of Line Rider JavaScript in September 2015. Conundrumer has been working on adding features since then, adding music sync in March 2016.

On March 2016, LRJS replaced 3.4.X as the "Play Line Rider" link at the top of the site.
