Thanks man I was wondering if anyone could point me to a list of some tutorials I can check out. Specifically on syncing music to tracks. I feel I have a decent handle on a few quirk tricks but there is a lot to dig through to find relatively useful info. Especially when I look at how far tracks have come since I was gone.

I don't know if there's much out there on music syncing tutorials, but what I do is play the track with the music, and then as soon as you get to a beat in the song you want to do some track at, stop the track, and record the frame counter. Next beat, rinse and repeat. Using linerider advanced, makes this process a lot easier and can save a lot of time.

btw I tried downloading the new line rider and it takes for ever to load up. I have a mac. i had to download this other thing that took a long time and it just doesn't open.

If you tried downloading LRA, it takes a long time to load the first time, but it should speed up after that. (also for mac you may have to install the mono framework linked in the LRA thread, not sure exactly the details on that) But you can also play LRJS using the link conundrumer provided (it's also the "play line rider" link at the top of the site)

Ive been lurking. Sending Pm's to Rabid and such thanking him for everything. Anyways, I havent been active since 2013. I am notoriously known as the person who post a video of me trying to be funny, and quickly learned that stand up comedy is not for me. I havent made a track since 20 and freaking 10 or 11. I see some familiar faces posting. Hi, Chuggers, Opal, Rabid, Wolf, and the others a remember kinda talking to, and HP! Since my last appearance on this site from when I was lurking previously, and watching AC horribly sing on streams, Ive grown up, finished high school, finished two year at community college and look to get a bachelors in the next three years. The last time I popped into the forum I was depresssed (My mom passed due to her own choice, and I wanted to be surrounded by people I sorta knew) I never popped since because I was dealing going to school and working over 50 hours a week (Screw Jimmy Johns). Now I have time on my hands again, only working 12 hours a week, and I really have nothing to do when I am home alone. So I lurked. Got the newsletter, read all of them. Lurked some more. And I guess I am back. I swear I will make a track this time. I have about 280 lines of something right now, its not good at all, and I have accepted the fact that I know my capabilities. But i wanted to stop lurking and give an official Hello for like the 700th time. Thanks guys for being a community still, I remember I just started playing this game because I googled fun games to play online while dealing with my first break up in high school. (I was 14 okay) Then line rider popped up and I made a track, Votale messaged my youtube and told me to come here. I remember the first comment I ever had on youtube was Rafeal saying that I would go "highspeed" in the future. Sorry that never happened man. Hahaha

Question: Who changed their username recently, just to make sure I know the faces that I think I may not know?

I remember you! The only person who I can remember changing their name Lone Vampire, who is now Jealous Cloud. Also, have you checked out either his or conundrumer's new lr versions? They run way better and have 10x better workflow than any flash version

I have, I think, I clicked the play linerider link at the top of the page. It seems so much smoother and the amount of lag is so little it is great. I always thought it was my computer that was crappy, but I guess not. The saving seems a lot easier to, as it actually shows the .sols. Should be a lot easier to play now, I am about 300 lines into something and it is much smoother.
