The OP never mentioned anything about which rule had to be changed, and I think everyone before me has kept the rule that was introduced by the person before them (i.e. first person uses rules 1 and 2, second uses 2 and 3, third uses 3 and 4, etc.). I made a logical inference and assumed that this was what efraz meant. So yes, it is just that confusing. Also I'm an idiot

Anyone's allowed, all you need to know is how to operate .sol files, and that you must choose between one of these rules to keep,

^ Ive got the rules down and anything, but I've never operated my .sol files before I know how to get to them, though.

If you know where they are, that's the hard part. Just close don line rider, if it's open, name the other .sol you have in there to whatever you want, and name the .sol you want to work on savedLines.sol. Open LR again, and you're good to go.
