I think this is one of the coolest looking tricks in Line Rider, but I very rarely see it used. On the chance that people just don't know how they work, I made a video that gives details on the anatomy of a rolling alt fling. Short, concise, hopefully useful to other people.

i was asking hedge awhile back about these (because ive never really made them before) and my conclusion is that once you get through half a roll you gradually transfer well strength to the opposite wells as he's rolling. Reverse (like grolling) wells can be used to help with the rotation as well.

btw yours looks really good. fine example. I always though IGGB's in blue champion were super lame because the wells in the opposing side of the roll were so weak that it was like they weren't even there.

Few alt fling rolls are made because they're freaking hard

I did my first alt fling roll near the end of Phlotation that I actually made on stream. Though it lacks Cereal 'Vibe', so it's debatable whether it counts.

I want to see alt flingrolls using other contact points. I have the feeling that hand would be the next easiest.

Some of mine occasionally skip a frame just because I'm lazy, but for the most part, confirmed. It's not actually required. That being said, I have nothing against frame skipping if you can keep the angles on the wells consistent and in the right direction.

2nd peg alt fling rolls are annoying as hell because they're near the center of gravity. In general, he further from the center of gravity the well is, the easier the roll will be (the same also applies to regular ol' scpgrolls, although not quite to the same extent). The number of contact points nearby can also be a contributing factor to difficulty.

I don't always try 2nd peg rolling alt flings.

But when I do, they always catch the 1st peg.

butt alt flings rolls could be hawt.

I made a full 360 in Aeronautical but I didn't use just one contact point. I would switch contact points (starting with nose/string, then second peg, then nose/string, etc. though I don't remember all the contact points I used) with each small bit of rotation to force Bosh to rotate more until I managed the full 360.

-You don't need to skip frames but you can if you want to make it easier, skipping a frame doesn't disqualify it from being an alt fling roll, otherwise the same would apply to grolls in general (just saying since it seemed like some people sounded like they were trying to say it was a technicality. Which is stupid.)

Never said it couldn't, I was just pointing out that it's not relevant to my interests and because I'm lankher, I had to point it out in a way that makes him feel like he's not as good as everyone else.
