A 'lil question
I'm off on holiday soon, and I've got the offline line rider thing, but how do I transfer the .sol from the online one to this one, it's probably obvious and somethnig to do with finding the .sol from the offline one, but can someone help? I can't survive 2 weeks without Line Rider!

Re: A 'lil question
Find the .sol in the linerider.com folder or whatever it's called. Click and drag it to localhost folder thing.

Re: A 'lil question
If you can't find the localhost folder, it's because you haven't saved something using the offline version.
So yeah, draw one line, save it, and the localhost folder will pop up. Then transfer the linerider.com folder's .sol to the localhost folder, replacing the other .sol that was in there.
Don't have any form of LR open when moving .sols! That means neither the online nor the offline version.

Yeah, make sure you have saved tracks on both Offline and Online, and then use a .sol finding tut to get to each of the folders. Copy and paste your savedLines into the localhost (offline folder) and you can you have your tracks.

Re: A 'lil question
If you can find the linerider.com folder, the localhost should be in the same spot, maybe 3-4 folders to the right. I don't have Vista so I can't tell you the folder names, but there should be a tutorial somewhere around here.

^For the online directory
Offline directory is the same, but the last folder is Localhost, not linerider.com.
And it will stop loading sometimes because either you cannot handle the amount of lines in the track, or you're using the wrong beta version.

Yeah, I've got it working now, but when I load my track, it loads up to 18% then comes up with the 'abort script' message..

Re: A 'lil question
That would mean your .sol has been corrupted, or SA hates you.. I think the first one though
Slyther Demon- Member
Re: A 'lil question
I'd probably say the second one
Also, why would it be corrupted? And how can I fix it?

Re: A 'lil question
You didn't happen to have Linerider open when you transferred the .sol did you?

Re: A 'lil question
Nope, but I'll try again, I think I know where I made a mistake...King D wrote:You didn't happen to have Linerider open when you transferred the .sol did you?
EDIT: Well I tried transferring it with nothing else open but my computer thing, and.....well it stopped at 18% any more ideas? Anything is appreciated! WHY must nothing work for me?

Re: A 'lil question
Did you ever save the track again, online, and exit out of the window while it was saving? That can corrupt things sometimes.
Re: A 'lil question
Are you sure that the beta versions are the same? (IE you're both running 6.2/6.1?)
