@ linerage I like manuals if they're smooth, not if the curves are smooth.
Anyway, it's looking good, but try to go up and down some more! This is mostly going left and right.

It is proven that circular or round objects are more preferred than angular objects, in general.

You're just a beginner, so I won't be very harsh. Looks good.

WOW, thats really brave of you Lankher (see, i spelled it right)

To Podpack,

To preview, try to make your curves more smooth, it looks like its going to contain manuals, which is a big improvement compared to your last track Smile

meh, when a new guy made manuals that weren't circular/smooth, everyone goes "I don't see the big idea, this isn't such a good track", and when it's circular, like the one ipi had, everyone was like "ay ay ay that is dammmmmmmm smooooth yo, +rep+fav+sub like man that is awesome -writes big review-" that's what i've observed.

Yeah! Listen to PodPack! He is a senior member and has been here for years, and doesn't afraid of anything! 8D

srs: iliek, finish eet. Some times manuals are smoother when the curve itself is unsmooth, you'd be surprised. It all depends on pressure of the manuals. Forget about curve smoothness, just make sure that the pressure of the manuals is really strong and consistent.

he's an older member than you are? And where's your track that shows you to be experienced?

EDIT: not to mention that your post was rather disparaging. "I won't be too harsh, so all I can say is that it was 'good' (which is probably the lamest compliment possible)"

So I can't say ''you're a beginner'' when I'm a beginner too?

I didn't MEAN it like that, it just comes over like that at you guys. :| And who can't disagree with me he's just a beginner? Also, ''looks good'' is positive, not negative. IF I would be honest, I would say something like ''it looks horrible, work on your sense of circularity, and try to make the track more interesting by adding more tricks''. You all think I'm just a darn troll who comments on tracks like he's pro and knows everything and is perfect, or something, but I'm not that person. I DO have experience with LR, I've seen enough good LR tracks and bad LR tracks to know what's actually good about it and what not. Now, who's the one who's harsh?

I don't see why you're all attacking Podpack. He's right. If I look at this preview and take the LCC standards, it'd suck. If I look at this preview and I take the standards of someone who is relatively new and I've seen some manuals from and stuff, then this is a really good track with a lot of improvement.
I don't get where the "smoother curves" comments come from. When you guys started LR you never made a smooth curve. Neither did I. It doesn't make any sense to give that as criticism to a relatively new person. Before giving criticism, look at the person you're giving critique to, like Podpack.

yea, but we just told him people like circles more than uncircular stuff. And we told him to TRY to do it, but it's good for new people's standards already...

My point is that this is totally irrelevant if you just learned a manual to perfect your curves.
