MMS preview

I'm pretty pissed off that TechDawg has seemingly fallen off the face of the earth. I'm not mad at him or anyone specifically, just pissed. This wasn't supposed to happen, but it did. I realize that most of you have already seen this, but if I ever want to prove myself I have to stay with the crowd .

Anyway, the video states 235,000 lines, but as of the time of this post it's closer to 300,000.

Finally, I don't know when this will be done because I a mbarely able to work on it let alone get online at all these days, but I'm still working so don't lose hope

WOW! That's tonnes of lines, similar to your previous tracks but a huge improvement, must have been really difficult to so those 's' in the track. I don't really like the fire thing you did, but the editing looks awesome!!!

300K? That's like more than 235K. O.o
Haha, I can't wait to see this! I just hope it doesn't get pushed back.
Even if it does though, it will still be worth it.

I really can't wait to see this. I know you tend to kind of throw lots of lines where they don't need to be, but I'm sure this will still be amazing

- I think you should come up with more creative track names
- I think you should branch out in style, your scenery looks rather similar (although it does look awesome) and your tracks always seem to feature manuals. try incorporating some gravity! (maybe you're doing that in this track, iono)

I will tell you that some of my tracks may be overscened, but I like to fill all the space in the video frame so that it takes you from the plain white background into a new perspective.

About your thoughts: I have always wanted to make new names for tracks, but my series is sort of a trademark and this the last one in the XTRAS series, so I kind of have to use it. There are a lot of people out there that will never tire of the name and will get excited when they hear a new one is coming, so I might as well make it familiar. Also, I do use past scenery styles, I guess that's how I've always been, learning from my past tracks and trying new ideas while keeping things (again) familiar to my audience. If I bought a game called Half Life and it was about basketball i'd get really confused.

Finally, my wrist has healed, or it's running on sheer willpower and determination. All I know is that I know I've let people down, but that was then and this is now, and MMS is just about as sweet as it gets, I just need more time

Remember: If you release an unfinished track of this like you have a few times before with other tracks, everyone LR person there is will turn their back on you forever!

Sorvius Sorvius Sorvius ... glad to see your still hanging in there aftr all this time, we need another truly legendary track nowdays as we havent had one of such magnitude for a long time. 320K oh my god how the hell have you not died yet, serioulsy tho its looking as usual spectacular at the very least and i hope that the finished product will be something that even you are truly proud of.

I wasn't meaning that - I was meaning how you like to use scening techniques that use the most lines physically possible (like, they require lots of little lines) I don't think too much scenery is ever a problem (well, almost never) it's just that your linecounts tend to be deceiving in what is actually there. (meaning a 100k track by you looks more like a 80k track by others)

Also, I've found (when I got a very mild carpal tunnel from typing long posts, lol) that if you use one of the more recent super-sensitive mice (mouses? ) (you can buy one for like $20 at Best Buy or something) and put something under your wrist (like a rolled up towel) while typing/working, it helps a lot

Oh, big tracks like these are always hard to make, so I give you plenty of kudos for this, Sorv (and for helping me loads a while back). It looks awesome, and 300k lines sounds pretty amazing. =0

I haven't lost hope on mine either, and don't worry about making us wait for being inactive. I've been keeping people waiting for over a year

hovering around 450,000 teehee

ill have some new screenshots up soon and im planning on releasing the
video within the next 4 weeks, so sit tight, the grand finale is almost here
