Re: Round #4 - Poll #7
BttW and M3 for me. Seems like M3 has music muted for me, but even without music it's super impressive the world that cc made here. The track itself is also above average and aside from some sudden burst lends itself fairly well for the scenery. bttw is iconic and makes me feel happy when I watch it. IS is too much of everything for me. Impressive, but hard too watch and enjoy. CF for today's standards seems like just another quirk, although still a very good one, doesn't stack up to bttw and M3 imo.

whoops that must have gotten mixed up, replaced it with the one with audio restoredZ_N-Freak wrote:Seems like M3 has music muted for me
Re: Round #4 - Poll #7
What I said the last 3 rounds:
Centrifugal Force - Still a really solid omnitrack. I feel like it lacks a central purpose or direction like, say, Handlebars, but it does have a nice arc through several different styles of trackmaking, and the sections are all clearly defined and solidly executed. √
Mysteria III - Again, to me this track is lacking in some departments (mostly the disjointed monument and the "why?") but it easily GMV up against Incito Sacena for the solid world building and beautiful art style. √
Incito Scaena - IMO, Bosh's movement and the scenery almost never work well together, the scenery almost never works with the other nearby scenery, and overall it feels like a chaotic mess rather than a constructed world. For me, this is not a track, it's a ton of crap drawn on TOP of a track. X
- Spoiler:
- Centrifugal Force (√ √ √)I really do think this is the best omnitrack ever created, at least for me. I love how it starts out with quirk, moves into integration, then XY, and then finally the slow circular manuals section. The sections are clear and consistent, the transitions are well done, and the order of sections is excellent. It may not have much to say besides presenting a variety of track style, but it does that far better than any other track that I know of.solid showcase of a variety of styles in line rider. Good execution and presentation.
Mysteria III (√ √ √)Just a really solid omnitrack, with excellent transitions and a variety of different types of sections that all hold their own both in length and in quality.like this one a lot, though the monument feels rather disjointed and that results in the whole track feeling a bit... draw-whatever. But I'll vote for it just for the quality of art and expert handling of the naked manuquirk into an environment for Bosh. Better than TechDawg, or anyone else, IMO.I really prefer HEA to this because it's so clear when the track and scenery are made together by one person, versus when Cereal makes a manuquirk and then CC tries to add scenery to it. Lots of things are relied on (rails, bridges, vines) and it becomes more about just making it look decent than executing a vision. Still. CC's style is so beautiful it GMV this round.
Incito Scaena (X X X)The style is beautiful, the world building is nice. I've never seen a story or purpose or point or central idea to this track, and the monument feels a bit disjointed, but against these tracks it GMV easily. There is one moment (the hanging bridge) that I really like, and the rest is just utter chaos. Lots of time and effort to show but it's frankly just unwatchable for me. Huge non-sequitur monuments appear for a second out of nowhere, a million styles are packed into the same space, the track is entirely buried under mountains of randomness, and Bosh's movement has virtually no relationship to the scenery. Not to mention the zoom level is terrible and you can see the edges of all the scenery everywhere.Unwatchable chaos.Amount of detail =/= Quality of scenery!!!

Re: Round #4 - Poll #7
Thanks for the vote lol rabid, too bad you couldn't vote for the better clear choice, BTTW
also mIII got my other vote
also mIII got my other vote
Re: Round #4 - Poll #7
^ I don't feel like I'm able to comment on BTTW because 1) it's doing so well 2) I really don't understand why 3) I feel like I can only say that so many times before it comes off as false modesty
Re: Round #4 - Poll #7
Bolted to the Wall and Mysteria III advance, Centrifugal Force and Incito Scaena are eliminated.
