Music Sorting Idea! Empty Music Sorting Idea!

So Efraz came up with this idea to sort as many LR tracks as possible by their music. Not like a backbreaking project, but as sort of a cool fun thing to do.

I love the idea, but it'd only work if the LR community supports it.

Well, before we would actually START the project, we would need to think of how many categories there are, and how broad they are each. Here's my list, so feel free to expand @ anyone:

Electro/pop
Dubstep
DnB
Rock
Progressive
Chill
Folk/Country
Rap
Techno
Pony

Secondly, how long would a track need to be to fit in this list? If a video was 30 seconds, it wouldn't really fit in it, just like an 8 minute video wouldn't be great either. *cough utopia cough comeback cough multiverse cough*

Finally, sometimes people use 2 different genres for the track and the bled replay, so what would we do with that?

Pony shouldn't really be a genre in here. I feel like the controversy it'd cause would be rather extreme. Everything else, I like.

The biggest point I see to this is the fact that music is an ever growing aspect of line rider tracks. With this now in place, it seems perfectly reasonable to search for the genre of music you want to find, as you'd then also be searching for a track with a similar feel, or 'vibe' to it. Chill music generally = chill linerider track, and so on and so forth.

For tracks with two songs, just use the first song. Personally, I use the song that fits better first, since I think it's more representative of the track. I'd be glad to help out with this, it never hurts to check out some music and some LR tracks.

I think this was a good idea, largely due to the fact that I'm now able to see what songs have been used, and what genre of song goes with what style of track. It's really very interesting upon inspection.

This is obviously very incomplete, please contribute your own tracks or the ones that I missed that should have been glaringly obvious.

^Lawl, I was listening to Paranoid by Black Sabbath when I was making the list, must've been a Freudian slip.
