mumble has issues with having large amounts of people on at once (like 7+) and because it's open-source we'd have to fix that ourselves

that aside i wouldn't mind a mumble server.

This idea has came up before (usually ventrilo though)

I remember being in one with corruption a long time ago(I think).

It's not all that exciting really, might as well be using skype, even though I prefer ventrilo.

no just having 7+ people on the server at any one time causes weird lag issues.

I get a lot of delay when I use Vent. Might just be my crappy internet but Skype seems to work better. I've never used mumble though.

for those asking, Mumble is a voicechat program, open-source, you can host your own server so it's entirely free.

IF it happens, don't use mumble. Vent has worked for 40 person raids in WoW just fine, and Skype has easily had 10+ people for videos on Minecraft. Both are much better options if we do use some sort of voice chat program
