An idea... Empty An idea...

Post by Wolf_Spirit Wed Aug 03, 2011 1:31 pm

During a conversation with OTDE, he told me a really amazing scenery idea.
Basically, since on computers, TV's etc. the three colours used are red, green and blue. And since in Line Rider, the three colours we have are red, green and blue, if we drew pixels in line rider with these colours and arranged them...we could actually make an image with actual colours possibly. I'm not sure if this would really work, but if it would...IT WOULD BE AMAZING!
So, eventhough I'm not LCC, I think it'd be worth posting here to see if this could work, and if anyone would be willing to help/attempt doing it ^^

Well, it wouldn't really work because the colors don't "blend" when overlapped.

I think it'd work if it was big enough to be very zoomed out. I, however, do not have the patience for something like that to be honest.

It would require planning on the pixel level, you'd have to have a picture with only red/green/blue/black pixels in photoshop or something and then reconstruct it pixel-by-pixel - you'd have to make, for example, rows of X lines left to right starting with the bottom row of pixels, and the continuing up in that fashion until you reach the top. you'd also have to work on two rows at once cuz black/blue/red

I do beleive however drawing a blue and red line facing away from each other will create purple at enough zoom

that would be a really really big picture, but it's still be the same principle of only red/blue/green/black pixels
