(insert partial quote) I remember back in the day when people tried avoiding that. (/end partial quote.) I believe AP said something along the lines of that. I remember it too.

TBH, I don't like barrel rolls. Only a few times do I approve. EX: I did like some of that section FlagCapper did. Besides that I did not really enjoy the other clips.

music was annoying as hell, but then again there is a mute button so I shouldn't complain.

I remember seeing how bhcs always labeled his blue barrel rolls, and thought that was kind of funny. I never realized they had so much history behind them.

I personally don't like to do them very much because they don't really take much skill to do, and are usually the result of a failed tail manual.

Barrel rolls are fun to MAKE

but they can be very cool in some tracks. Bipolar by STP was an awesome track, and they just kind of fit. Funky Flippin' by CD has barrel rolls and head manuals all over, and I love that track because those are two tricks people don't do often. Ktk's were great because his style is so sloppy, and Bjerre's were great because it was how he built up epic speed. And like I said in the video, they lead to things like integration and people playing around with manuals instead of just making them all straigthforward and the same.

You can usually tell if they're done professionally. Like, if he is in a manual, and then does barrel rolls, then back to a manual.

I was wondering, is there such a thing as a broken barrel roll? It would be like unconnected multiple circular lines that would spin Bosh in one side, so clockwise or counter clockwise.

If there is, I might have made one. If you don't know what I mean, I can show you it.

Perclusion actually didn't have any strings of barrel rolls, to my surprise I opted for the part from FlagCapper's A Quirk From Quirk as I kind of liked that better than anything I could find in perclusion. I also didn't remember perclusion until late in the editing process, so I was like "meh whatever"

You don't have to have a name for everything. Ktk did that all the time It might be considered tumbling, or a barrel roll, or halfway in between.

The section you showed of Nirobi's Abstract Revine was not a barrel roll(s). They were just regular manuals (more then one, alting from nose and tail) connected with green lines. >.>

It's a shame you defined barrel rolls so narrowly. I did a single barrel roll and then flipped the guy in the other direction. In beta1. I doubt the entry or exit was a manual though.

wow thats pretty cool. imo you should do this for alot of different tricks, like different variations of the fling or alt or anti gravity lines and what not.
