Contest of the Month survey

First of all, thank you everyone for making the first concert of the month a huge success! It's only been about 2 weeks and it already has 35 submissions and 16 entrants!!!

It's the most active contest I can remember in, like, forever Very Happy

Second order of business is this poll. Four more weeks of keeping the contest open seems like a really long time. So my question is, should we make this contest two or three weeks long as opposed to a month?

a two-week-long contest would put the end of the contest sometime during this coming week when I have time, and then I'd get the results video up next weekend. We would brainstorm ideas this week and then the next contest would start when the video went up next weekend.
A three-week-long contest would put the end of the contest two weeks from Tuesday or wednesday, I would put the video and next contest up Sunday after my finals.
A four-week-long contest would end on the 20th, the next contest would go up around chirstmas day.
A true contest of the month would end around Christmas and the next concert would go up about January 1st.

I'll change the name "concert of the month" appropriately

Third thing is, I'm sorry about the images, I'm trying to find out why a bunch of avatars and smileys aren't showing up suddenly...

but i voted for COTM anyways, because it sounds appropriate to irtl.

COTM because this contest took me about 2 hours for both of my entries.. we could just close the entries a bit earlier this time or something. I'm sure there will be contests which take a bit more time.

Also, about the third point in the announcement, is anyone else having trouble with seeing the smileys and avatars? or is it just me?

I say three weeks by the way, it's just good to have a nice little week to get everything together and ready.

No, Ive been working my butt of finishing my contest so at least jave a poll between them. Besides, my contest is short

Anyway, I say make the contest 3 weeks and use the remaining time in the month to make the results video and vote for next contest.

sounds like a good idea to me, I think I'll do that if nobody has any strong objections.

oh dang didn't think it was that many....oh well whatevar then i think it should be the 3 week then 1 week to edit and get everything together.
