Seriously though. This is great stuff. The flawless transition from slow to highspeed is probably my favorite aspect of this track.

EDIT: damn that was good! Very cool how you kinda emulated each other's styles to make it flow together. And it was still very impressive just as a whole, like damn.

the beginning seemed a little rushed, the manual catches were a pretty jerky, but as it sped up, it ironed itself out, still nothing too spectacular

Holy damn, this was good

Every single part was top-notch quality. I got legit chills when it went into highspeed, and the transition was flawless. When the highspeed did hit, I was absolutely floored by the amount of flow and complexity that you guys managed to make coexist in the track. Never seen anything quite like this; beautiful job to the both of you.

I'm torn between several thoughts:

1. part of me wants to just say fuck you for not finishing it
2. part of me is like yeah but what they did is pretty great
3. and part of me is like but they got waaay too dramatic waaay too soon the song is like 4 mins long damn it pace yourself

so yeah. I kind of still want to make this into a community project? what are your thoughts on that?

in any case, this wasn't very close to my vision so I have difficulty appreciating it, but I can't say it wasn't good. it was quite good. Good job for what did get done.

Thoughts of a promising young nooblet:

Dapianokid took one look at this, fell in love becuase of the title knowing what song it would be, and said to himself "only the gods themselves ought dare forge a track from the great abyss as homage to this breathtaking music."
I then watched the video and understood exactly why the motivation disappeared from finishing this, it did get pretty intense early on, but with the development of style and skill in the communiy, if the quirkers and manualers got together this could become virtually the most beautiful project in the history of LR. In my opinion, this is the best song for LR. Period. Scenery, slow and simple stuff, hard and fast intense quirk, highspeed, flatsled, airtime, all of it could go perfectly in this song. And youc an see what I mean from jsut one listen. It's also rhythmically super sound. I get chills thinking about it.
At first, I wanted to ask if I could work on it with you two. Then I thought about how if it became a commuinty project it might get just enough momentum to get done. With my ever chanigng style, if I tried to work on such a huge project alone with ya'll, it'd fizzle out quickly because while I have good intentions, I lack the experience you guys have which is required to pull it off.

I want this to not die.
Like, this was my baby before I found out you guys already started a collab on this.
I have so many more things to say on this, but I don't wanna draw this out any longer than it already has been.

So long as we take it seriously and keep it motivated. I don't want us to say "WCC that shit" and then never get it done becasue we're all unmotiaved.

Honestly, I was already planning on it. I have been planning on it since I first heard the song when raf posted about how they were going to do this.

We'd need to start from scratch though, so we don't bite off more than we can chew. And we need to finish some of our copious number of projects before I will be okay starting more, that's how it goes. But don't worry, it'll happen.

But starting from scratch makes me skerred. Eh, we'll get it. So long as we do the WHOLE song.

efraz, I'm glad I'm not the only MCR (thebomb) fan out here.
However, The Black Parade was my first song for them ever and holds a special place in my heart. For some reason, this feels like a calling.
