Rabid's track framing service (for scenery)
Hi there. You know how sometimes in a recording of a scenery track you can't see all the scenery but there's also all this white space and stuff where nothing got drawn? Framing helps prevent that. Unfortunately framing is annoying and time consuming. BUT GOOD NEWS IS RABID WILL DO IT FOR YOU if you ask nicely.
So here's what I'll need to help you:
And here is the paragraph you need to read before telling me the zoom level:
You will get back a .sol with a new save named "framed". This save will be just like the previous save, but with green lines outlining the edges of where the recording will be. So all you have to do is scene to fill the space inside the lines, and no need to go any further! This will probably make scening a lot more fun and stuff.
You can also use my splitting technique and when you're done I'll record it for you, if it's going to be a big project:

And if it's not a big project you can just request a plain old recording at my shop (which you can do regardless of whether I've framed it for you):

So here's what I'll need to help you:
- a naked or partially scened track .sol
- a 3.4.x zoom level
And here is the paragraph you need to read before telling me the zoom level:
So here's what you'll need to do. Download 3.4.x if you don't have it already and open it in a standalone flash player. Open your track in it. The window will be 1280x720 when it opens. Now use the zoom tool, and Z/X/V/B in live playback to find a zoom you like with the track at this window size. Watch the upper right, it will tell you the zoom level as a number whenever it changes. Round that number however you like, just get a general idea of what zoom is good. NOTE: just because you're framing it at 720, doesn't mean you can't record at 1080 - just double the zoom level)

miniboyns asked me to frame his track after I split it.
Little did I know how long it would take. 6 hours later, it is done.
