Re: Infinite Regression - Kramwood
The way you maintained speed and control was incredible, even more so than what I expected. You are an inspiration and a modern legend.
Awesome track, don't get me wrong, but I would still put my money on Universe for ToC4 if I were you. To paraphrase a comment in the SCG poll, this was a track; Universe was an experience. Just my 2 cents worth, though, do what you want.

I liked that, it was very cool. Although the tricks were varied, there was hardly any variation in pace, and I didn't really like the all g-well theme. I think some manuals would have made it better. I still like universe better. (Although I would like to see World's End even more)

Meh. Had to skip through the intro and honestly I didn't like the "track" at all. This track is like Valance, but then messy instead of clean, and the cleanliness was actually the only thing I liked about Valance. And the music... Ugh. However, it does show how amazingly skilled you are at this game.
Sorry KW. You really disappointed me with this one =/

A Track that shows the technical possibilities of line rider, which go unpotentiated.

Not my taste, and IMO not good for a LR track.Kramwood wrote:^ orly

After watching it over and over, throughout the whole day I'll have to agree with Rafael. I don't like it for the same reasons I didn't like Valance and it felt less clean. Song didn't bother me as much, though. Sorry, Kram. =(

Well, I disagree with the majority. This is the only track of yours that I enjoyed. I'm not sure if that's more of a compliment or an insult. And I liked the music/editing.

I thought this was really cool, though I don't see how the new tricks you're talking about matter very much... but I don't understand the hating on the flow or the style or the music... I mean it's very kramwood, but that doesn't make it bad...
On the other hand, I'm sort of struggling with why I don't really enjoy your videos. I mean, all of them are really impressive and really cool, and jaw dropping in some places, but they never quite feel epic and they never quite feel like a masterpiece or like a work of art, and I have yet to find myself coming back to rewatch them. Sorry this is really crappy advice and this track was very cool and very kramwood style and very impressive and even fun to watch, it just doesn't feel like something that I will come back and watch again or add to my favorites or anything like that...

Re: Infinite Regression - Kramwood
I think the thing "missing" rabid's talking about is flow, or how a track connects from one moment to the next. Transitions between tricks. Right now, the flow is haphazard, lacking in order and direction. The track is composed of separate and exclusive impressive tricks that falls a little short of creating a cohesive whole, a "story" or "experience," if you will. That being said, you have greatly improved your flow over time, and definitely showed your capability in tracks like universe and final destination.
I guess transitions make a track. Do what you think looks good, not necessarily what is most impressive. Think about where you want to go with your track; focus on the next move instead of concentrating on the present.
And boom! you got yourself an A+ track that's entertaining to watch, flowy, and immersive.
Before I say anything else I just wanted to say I loved what you did here. The heavy rock, the fast paced tricks, the adrenaline rush.. it made for a thoroughly exciting experience I felt was enjoyable.
I'll put it bluntly: I liked the track. The abovesaid advise was just some pointers to progress, maybe? Or just random rambling. you decide.
EDIT: I don't want you to feel any disappointment or shame for making this track based on the criticism you have received. I want you to feel pride in what you have made, because it is awesome and crazy impressive and wonderful. Use this experience as the magic elixir that is inspiration and make a blow-away track everyone will cry over and love next time

^ I mentioned flow in stuff I didn't have a problem with, but I think maybe flow's maybe not the right word for what you're talking about, and I think we're talking about the same thing.
Re: Infinite Regression - Kramwood
Even though the intro was weirdly cool, 37 seconds is just too long
But......dat track. Seriously, this is crazy.

You have a disorder, efraz
It's probably because he releases tracks faster than any other LCC members combined. Exaggeration? Just look.rabid squirrel wrote:On the other hand, I'm sort of struggling with why I don't really enjoy your videos. EDIT: Over the last three pages of bare tracks, here's what I got (including LCC collabs).
LCC (not counting Kram): I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I (36)
Kramwood: I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I (19)
Well... nvm. Still.
Why do I have this weird need to collect and present data whenever school is out?
EDIT2: Owait, there's a track on this thread I thought that the music fit perfectly, although super-long intros are becoming your trademark.
Re: Infinite Regression - Kramwood
Sorry bro, not your best track. The flow felt more like you were fighting against it, rather then going with it. If you understand that.

I just have to say that it makes me really mad when people give a primarily negative comment just because a track is not the best work someone has ever made
The kind of thinking that every track has to be better than your last has caused so many people to quit line rider it's not funny.

No....
I feel like you are trying to find any excuse to rant on me
And you know exactly what I meant by his "best work"

So it sucks because it was not his best? I don't quite follow.

No, he's just being a good admin while you're being a source of reasons for one to quit playing Line Rider. So maybe you should try to make decent and constructive comments or no comments at all on tracks.kevansevans wrote:rabid squirrel wrote:I just have to say that it makes me really mad when people give a primarily negative comment just because a track is not the best work someone has ever made

I'm sorry for giving my honest opinion. Since when was it forum rules to make it constructive?
