Don't forget lua plugins.

Honestly, I think that the current engine does need to be optimized and such before adding clutter like new line types, and plugins really do sound like the way to go with that.

That being said, if he wants to fiddle around with the game and share what he makes, he has every right to do so.

Well if you think about it, this is like a beta test. Those who are willing to make this stuff can experiment with new [censored], then we see what's good, and make it for the plugins. Assuming that Mhenr releases this stuff before I get shipped out, that's what I'm doing.
