Official name for Georg's double-sided line thing from Flashkick?
Official Trick-Naming Poll 1
The LCC and the livestream have come up with three names for Georg's double-sided manual thing from Flashkick. We need you to choose between them.
If you don't know what it is, YouTube search for "Line Rider Flashkick" and wait for the thing that recycles on the other side of the line. Or, you can just not vote, because, chances are, you won't be using them if you don't know what they are.
The "1" is in case we have to do it again, which we probably will have to.

I don't exactly like naming tricks after people, but that's just me. Danual gmv.

The only problem I have with "danual" is that between it and "kramual", people might start going, "Who the hell is Dan?"Opal Rider wrote:I don't exactly like naming tricks after people, but that's just me. Danual gmv.

1. Manual + Dual = Mandual?
2. Dual Sided manual? DSM
3. MRAG/MRAF= Manual Recycled As Granual/Flanual

Re: Official Trick-Naming Poll 1
We may need a second poll just for all the people that say "other". >_<

Re: Official Trick-Naming Poll 1
From the poll I'd pick Bimanual, because like Opal I like tricks to be named for what they do, not who first did them. We could have called 'gravity wells' 'anomalies' for half a decade otherwise
Alternative, Duomanual, or Unimanual.
WishAddendum: My 400th post! Just throwing that out there like some proud noob!

Gravity wells are actually named after his track, "Gravity Wells". We can't really call this trick a flashkick, can we?WishLine wrote:We could have called 'gravity wells' 'anomalies' for half a decade otherwise

Lol, I'm not going to rewrite LR history, am I? As the toy's first quirk gets renamed to 'anomalies'

I'd be totally cool with this trick being called a Flashkick.

^ Kramuals were originally called "inverted flatsledding" but then we found out we could do them upside down. What happens if we somehow invert this?

Other: Dual Sided Manual.
Also, I'm going to call it the above regardless what you choose.

Didn't he recycle a granual as a manual in Slumdog, not a manual as a granual (i.e. he didn't make the manual in a specific way so that the granual would work better, but rather just did a similar thing to what they did in Quirkology 5 and what I did in Vision when recycling the fling as a manual)?
Maybe we should ask Georg.
Still, I think it's silly to call the trick a slumdog.

Re: Official Trick-Naming Poll 1
Despite the crazy amount of creativity we can pump into a dude on a sled with lines... we really suck at coming up with names.
Also, Georguals. Cause I originally, jokingly suggested it.

"So today I made a Flashkick."
"I just Flashkicked,"
Don't those just sound sexy?

Why AREN'T we doing this. sure he had a track and he named it, but honestly, that name is so much cooler "Hey I did a tail anomaly earlier. Man that anomaly chain was pro!"
As for the trick, while amazing as freaking sliced bread, its just a manual recycled as a granual. If I do a nose anomaly and then 5 seconds later use the same line for a tail anomaly, should it be called the tailse anomaly or something like that? No. If it really needs a name, I'd say Bimanual, but I don't think it deserves a name, in all it's awesomeness.

I don't think a name is necessary.
