Feeling Bored? (& Moar Updates)

Are you feeling like there's not much to do on this forum? Well here's some stuff for you to do!

Movie of the Week
- Go watch the videos and vote! Last week we got 8 votes total, which seems pretty pathetic to me, considering that about 75 members have logged on in the last 24 hours >.>
- Enter! Everyone gets rep if there are less than 7 videos entered, and there have been 5-6 for the last 3 weeks. I know that there are more movies out there. We don't care if the track sucks, you might as well give it a shot!

Battles/Contests
Open ended doesn't mean non-existent It means that ANYONE can start a battle or contest, and you can define your own rules. There are some tips to holding a good contest/battle in the sticky, and a staff member will award the winner award points if the contest got a decent amount of entries and was well run, or if the battle was good quality (Just PM one of us). You don't need to wait for any important person to tell you what to do, just make a thread and see if it works!

Tutorials
We're working on getting some more tutorials off youtube that we consider to be "premium" to go in the sticky. Until then, you can:
- Post an old tutorial! We won't be mad, in fact we'll think it's great!
- Make a new tutorial! If you think something needs to be explained better, go ahead and make a tutorial! (We might even give you award points )

Clans
- If you aren't already in a clan, join one! You'll probably need some sort of display of your skill (like a video) and you should be aware that Mac/PC .sols are often not compatible. But otherwise, all you have to do is ask in a clan thread if they're recruiting!
- You can also make a new clan! It's recommended that you have some people who want to join before you actually start, but if you have a couple of friends and you want to start a clan, go for it!

Oh yeah, and one more thing you could do if you're bored - play line rider and post a track (and enter it in MOTW ) That's what I'm doing after I post this!

TD is still being an invisible untraceable ninja

But as for the checklist, we're making progress!
- You may notice some of the images have changed! (Thanks to Lone Rocket and Monkeypoo) Check the GFX section sticky if you want to contribute (you get rep)
- I think Lone Rocket is making the double PIPs. If she doesn't get them done soon I'm making some with no scan bars
- I put about 15 reeeeally old videos into the sticky in the featured movies section. (Geez, it takes time!) Anyway, I'm on my way to making an list of all the greatest line riders (if it is coming a bit slower than I thought)
- Ok, I haven't made the guide yet, or the history of IRTL, or worked on Premium tuts, but I'm the only staff who does any work around here (besides hedge in the RPG, and not offense to beast working on the guide) and I just discovered Red vs Blue, so give me a break

Deadline for LCC entering contest is two weeks from yesterday!

This is the first I've heard that I'm making these stacked pips lol.
Is there a thread I need to look at? Also, not sure if I can pull the scanbar out along with the image, so making the scanbar again might incur, and it might make the scanbar slightly different

Seriously? Hedge said something like "as long as Lone puts any work into it at all the scanbars will be fine" Stupid hedge

That's the issue we were discussing in team place. How about you make the one that has a shorter scanbar have a scanbar as long as the other one?

As far as the icons for threads go. I find them confusing.

Red = popular? but blue just means not popular. And if it has a star it means new post? ;-; kinda annoying but owell.

^ what's annoying about it? If you have an idea to make them better, please share it. Personally, I like the LR theme...

I mean the idea is nice, but i find it difficult to differentiate which threads have new posts. You have to take that extra effort to see if it has a star in it or not. (im not talking about the red flashing bosh head ones when you are looking at the entire forum).

it took me a while to understand also but i finally got it. i wish it was like old irtl where i showed who posted any where they posted so you could just click it there.

ACP > Modules > Forum Widget Management > Scroll down > drag "Recent Topics" into the right-size widget section.

edit: you can also change the amount of threads it shows by clicking the little crown inside the widget after you hit save.

No, you have to drag them into the side you want them in .
I did it for my clan server, we now have account info, donations, recent topics, vent, affilates, and kitskin stats in our forum-side widgets

Oh, no it's what I thought it was. He means that you used to be able to click on the topic title that was next to their name (in "last post" in the section) and it would take you there.

Actually you still can, it's the tiny little icon next to the name:

There is an option to show the topic title in that bit lol, hang on let me find it on my forum, will edit.
edit: Display > Structure and Heirarchy > scroll to Heirarchy > check yes on "Show last topic titles on index"
