Rabid's Video of the Week #18 - Veil by SPL4SHZ0N3
Welcome to video of the week, where I pick a random video from my exceptional playlist and talk about it in depth

THIS WEEK'S VIDEO: #163
Veil by SPL4SHZ0N3

I swear I'm using random.org Yes, this track just won Movie of the Week.
I have a very difficult time describing exactly what is so amazing about this track. There's something about it I can sense but can't put my finger on. I almost feel the need to use "Spl4sh" as an adjective in regards to it. So maybe some quotes from others can help me.
Vita may have been the track that got Spl4sh started, and Requiescat the track that made everyone start paying attention, but this is the track that really defined spl4sh's style and wowed everyone.
It's certainly smooth, and it certainly has some impressive tricks executed extremely well, and it has what I would call some of the best flow ever, but somehow I feel like there's more than that.
An idea that has intrigued me more and more over this past year is the idea of Line Rider as a dance. It's not that we literally identify with the guy, but we can feel something in the movement of Bosh on the screen. This is, in my opinion, the best track that I've seen so far that demonstrates this.
I have no idea how to wrap this post up. Um. This track is really good lol

So, let's see. Powerful, clean, controlled, fast, smooth, creative, elegant, and beautiful. Sounds right.SethComposerGuy wrote:clean, fast, smooth, and creative.

You could say the title "veil" is well-chosen, as there is something hidden from sight; something beneath the lines... a purpose... a passion. Just something more than a flash toy.
