Life and Stuff

Hey everyone. Today, I want to talk about LIFE. And I also want to talk about STUFF.

LIFE

My life is kinda amazing right now. I just finished my first year of college, I've made new friends, I'm proud of my work, and I'm looking forward to a great summer. However.

I'm beginning to understand that one part of my life is ending, and another part is beginning. I feel like I'm stepping out of my online self into the real world. All through high school, I always felt like my life was partly in school, but my real life - where I did things that actually mattered - was here on IRTL. But now I feel that my real life - meaning offline - really matters. It's hard to explain. I know one thing for sure though, and that is that I will never fully leave this place. But I also know that my heart is no longer here.

But I can't leave just yet. I have a few loose ends to tie up first. This summer, I am a man on a mission - or rather, a man on many missions. That's where the STUFF comes in.

STUFF

This includes stuff that applies to everyone, or only some of you, or just me. It's just easier to make one post.

• Tournament of Champions: Collab Edition #2. This will happen. More details are to come, but I think entries will be due on JULY 1ST. It will be run much like ToCC, which I considered to be a success.
  
• Contest of the Month. There will be one in June, July, and August this summer, and then no more. I will make a new brainstorming thread soon.
  
• Community Scenery Project. I want to see Dacite scened finished this summer. Maybe the others won't be, but we're too close to not finish Dacite.
  
• We need to move. I will do my very best to get the new site as fantastic as possible, and then we will move there.
  
• Evolution of Line Rider Scened. We may not finish this summer, but I will make sure we make significant progress.
  
• I have a scenery tutorial that I need to finish. It's been too long of a time coming.
  
• I have a compilation video of the best tracks in Beta 2 that needs to be made.
  
• I have a large amount of track projects I want to make someday. Maybe they will happen and maybe they won't. But I have one project that WILL happen, and it will be finished this summer.

These things are my objectives. I will therefore be checking WRTL a maximum of one time per day (probably less), in order to focus on these goals and others in other parts of my life.

OTHER STUFF

• I would like to congratulate wolf_spirit on a well-deserved promotion and a splendid job at running MOTW so far
  
• I would like to thank everyone who has played a significant role in my time on IRTL, but there are just too many people, and most of them are inactive and will never read this. But AC, I want you to know that I respect you more than anyone else I've met on the internet, and despite what I may have said to you in the past I will always think of you as a wonderful person.
  
• rep is not there anymore. It was being heavily abused by too many people.
  
• Guys, please stay on topic and make thoughtful posts with actual content that you've thought through. It's really annoying to read through a thread of smartass comments and knee-jerk arguments, which is what I've been doing for most of today to catch up on the last few weeks I was gone. And furthermore, actually discuss things - don't just try to be wittier than the person above you. This is not for my sake but for YOUR sake, and the sake of everyone on the forum. This is a learning experience for all of us, don't ruin it by being a smartass.

That said, you all are good people, and if you are prepared to buckle down and work for things in life I'm sure you will find happiness. Good Luck!

I think you have too much "stuff" and not enough "life" eventhough you said you were in college and everything was changing. I mean really, if I had that much "stuff" I would just quit entirely

I live mostly in the real world, but i enjoy visiting the online world when i get home from school and stuff.

I know you have been having a good year at college. I can only hope my first year will go just as well.

Glad you are doing well, rabid. This will be my first summer out of school completely, and I am very excited as well.

Why stop CotM after August? You resigning?

And I think it's awesome/benevolent that you're still willing to step up for ToCC2 and CotM. But you know who to ask for help. not me, [censored] that. loljk
