Staff, what are you doing?

CotM died.
MotW died.
Features died.
Announcements died.
Line Rider Wiki died.
This all in, I think 1 month.

Staff, what the hell are you doing?
Rabid's gone. He's busy with life. I respect that. However I can't believe what happened after Rabid left for a month. What happened the rest our staff?
AC lurks.
Chih lurks.
Purtle is active but doesn't do anything that normal members don't do. I think I've seen him close one thread.
Linebeast lurks.
Zeno just got mod but has only payed attention into trackmaking.
Hedge is inactive.
I know you all are busy people. I also know that there's a lot of stuff we don't see.
But you can at least give one little sign of activity. The staff used to be initiative, innovative, active and commited.
Everything on the site that was run by rabid is now dead. Not ONE staff member took something rabid used to do. Not ONE of them took
responsibility for what happened on the site. Not ONE of them even gives new members a proper welcome. From what I see, Wolf Spirit
and CommanderCoke do more on this site than all staff members put together.
My point is that if you can't help this site, you should get other members on this site to do it. I don't care about your "he's been staff for ages",
"he's our friend", "he's doing stuff in the staff section" and the like. At THIS moment, not ONE of all the 7 staff members does something
to improve our site and help our community. And that should change. Make CC mod, make Wolf Spirit mod, whatever. Almost ANYONE on this site
could do better than what you guys have been doing lately, and I mean that.
So, hate me, rage on me, call me ignorant, ban me, demote me, whatever. But at least have the balls to choose between retiring and getting someone to replace you, or get active.
I'm out.

I'm kinda doing everything I can do at this moment. And that ain't much, so I agree.

We need to spice up the forums.

This is what I said a few months back and people got pissy at me. I was also temporarily banned.

Get so new damn staff members. I don't care how long people have been here. The only staff that did anything has a busy life and is pretty inactive as he said in his thread and none of you other staff do [censored] to pick up what he left behind. The community sucks because of the spamming and trolling and you guys don't even do anything about that. Rafael's post is 100% accurate of what is going on. I don't want to see excuses like what you guys do behind the scenes that we can't see. I've run a forumotion site it's not much work at all. But wait. When I posted something like this back then I pretty much lost my chances of ever getting Elite, but I don't even care. I want what's best for the community, and the current staff we have now is not it. Make CC or Kohuded Mod. Anyone who actually will do something for this site.

I think that a new staff group should be formed!

I must agree. I know some staff are going to get mad, and we know you have a life, but there is a retire option if you can't handle life and this forum. We don't want any of you to retire, because we love you, but if you can't keep the forum going, what's the point of being a staff member?
And the members also need to contribute. Other than the official stuff, normal members can help out with a lot of contests, if the info you need is in the thread itself.

I'd like to say that I didn't really notice all this and that if somebody would give me a job to do (not all of those things listed please), I'd do it. I have a hard time with taking initiative and just doing things (combined with a little bit of lazy).
Aside this, last time I checked, the staff said we didn't really need any more staff, because everything was fine and we have enough people to mod the forum. I think this is still true, but as it seems we have a lack of people willing to organize and do stuff aside just moderating. Because even though you say I am only making tracks I have actually deleted some posts and topics etc. I banned iPi a while back for just acting random and well, stuff like that. So it's not like I'm not modding, I'm just not organizing said things.

As said, I don't know about everything the staff does. However, the fact that nobody (so far) hasn't noticed the activity says enough.
Also, you used to be initiative, like "The Ultimate Thread of Line Rider Challenges" you've made. My main point is that I'd like to see more initiatives from all staff members.

If it's my own ideas, sure I can take "initiative", I'd rather call that creative or something (and note that that didn't turn out to be very succesful >.>). But whatever, to show some good spirit I just featured one of the pending features and I'll do the other one tonight or something. Organizing MotW every week is not something I'd enjoy doing though, so I hope someone else will take care of that kinda stuff.

that's all so true. But i think it's not able to ask someboday for initiative. Just make new mods and all that, people who are active in this forum.

We have.. 6 or 7 staff members? We don't expect rabid to do everything, he just does. When he leaves everything dies because no one picks up after him.

Just one question though. If staff are doing things behind the scenes, why hasn't anything changed? the site is pretty much the same as it was since... ages ago except maybe a layout change and.. what else?

When was the last time anyone got promoted? We need demotes + promotes please. I'd also like to help? Maybe I could help with LAOtW or something, I've always liked the entries and admired all the artwork, and CC fell behind a bit in it. So maybe I could step in and help out, seeing as the whole time I've been here I've spammed and trolled

znf got promoted a while ago.

only other change i can think of it "... is a potty mouth" got changed to "censored" but i think that may of been forumnotion's doing.

ZNF was a mod a billion years ago, he retired and newly came back, technically not a promotion.

I pretty much completely agree with Rafael's post here. I would also love to be of help to the forums still, although I know I've been a ____ lately.

we're not arguing, we're all in general agreeance that the staff around here is doing nothing. hopefully this thread makes some of the staff do something.

honestly i have never seen anyone but rabbid do anything about moderation the entire time i've been here. it's sad.

I guess the current staff is just totally against promoting new people. Even when they did promote someone recently it was ZNF who was already mod before. What next? When we need another mod we'll ask Bing to do it? Get some new staff I don't know why you guys are so opposed to it (Directed at current staff that are actually somewhat active). If you guys can't see the spamming and trolling going on as Rabid said in his thread, you, in my opinion, don't even deserve mod at all. We can all see it, but somehow the staff is blind to it I guess or just lazy (Laziness- yet another reason one should not be staff).

Respect to you, sir. I agree 100%. Expect to hear from us soon.

btw rabid left 4 days ago so chill plz lol. yeah i know he wasn't active, but inactivity doesn't kick you in the nads and say "hey, you better do some work" quite like a leaving thread does. not an excuse, but a request for less brutality.

If you were referencing me, I meant the threads that should be locked are ones that are filled with an argument between two individuals. Which should be executed in messages.
