In any case, entries will be blind (other entries won't be seen until after entering closes) unless otherwise specified and no glitching will be allowed unless that's part of the contest

poll will go up sometime later this week, then contest will start

I still have my idea of a straight-up distance challenge and height challenge (only drawing lines inside a green box)

Other ideas I think we should consider again:
- Non shifted red lines only (CC)

Like everyone has to scene a pre-made track that somebody would volunteer to make.

How about u try to incorprate green lines into the track

Such as owly's all green tail manual

In other words have the least possible blue and red lines but make it look like there is a lot of track using green lineas

This makes sense in my head

Well there's of course the spontaneous track making idea I made a thread about.

Also IDK if this has been down before but I had an idea for something that is kind of like a maze contest but something a bit more interesting. It would be a .sol with about 50-100 random lines all over the place. The contestants have to make a track where bosh is effected in some way by each of those 50-100 lines. It could be either a contest for lowest line count or lowest runtime.

Propel contest:

Objective: Draw some lines ONLY in the draw box. You can move the startpoint anywhere fully in the draw box. (The draw box is the rectangle on the far left). You draw lines in the draw box to propel bosh through the course, and where he stops is the score you get.

Rules:
-No changing the track in any way
-All lines drawn and start point must remain fully in the draw box.
-You can do it offsled, but whatever score you get you get half the points as you would on sled.
-If bosh stops on two scores (say, stuck on one of the seperators), you get both scores added.
-If offsled, the score you get is where bosh stops, not the sled.
-No mentioning score, technique, etc before contest ends. Ill have a leaderboard like the other contests, not giving away score.
Thats it in a nutshell. Went successful before but the irtl pruning disaster kinda cancelled it. I aleady had a number of entries.

It would be better if the score is where he stops, and offsled shouldnt be allowed, it's easy to get REALLY far with offsled

Nah, im still alowing offsled, but if I said why it could give away stuff which im not gonna do.

well I think we can agree it's unfair to enter if you've created the contest. I entered a contest I was running, but I hadn't made the maze and I was the very first entry.

how is it unfair? maybe if it's a contest you're judging but if you had the idea and were running the contest then i see no reason you can't enter when someone else could be far better than you.

anyway how bout all pinch contest?

It is unfair unless its a make a track contests, but for my contest i could of built the whole track round one entry.

Thats unlikely as if i did (which i didnt but cant prove it) make the entire course round one entry, i would of gave me the bets possible score.
