I open up iMovie
I start new project
I import my recording
I convert it so I can speed it up
NOW THE QUALITY IS [I am a potty mouth] UP WHAT DO I DO?

are you using 06? if so it always looks like crap cuz it's old. export with expert settings, h264, 30fps, 640x480 and it'll looks a bit better in final form. also explore preferences and set any settings to high quality.

if it's 08 or 09... I dunno what to tell you. mine is always epic quality.
