Motivate me

Alright, depressing story time.

Today, I really felt the need to finish my scenery part in the rol collab. So I did that. I spent a good 3-4 hours working on it today. I basicly completed what i need to do. I left to go eat dinner. I came back and wanted to finish up, and just do some finishing touches before i send it to the next person. I started talking to him. I open lr just to do my finishing touches and carelessly instead of pressing load, i press delete. That's right. i accidentally deleted my track, all the work i just did. I try everything possible. I even had a 20 minute convo with the Apple Help Support team. Nothing did the trick.

So whenever I've opened LR, i just sigh and quit it, regretting that moment.

can you guys motivate me to at least get this project done?

Damn that sucks. There's nothing you can really do though. Linerider is supposed to be an outlet, an escape from real life, so it sucks hard when the tragedies you're trying to escape (working hard for nothing, having your efforts taken away from you unfairly) creep into your alternate reality idyllic.

However, at least you've been able to experience these feelings in a relative proxy; an environment where the negative emotions are the only consequence. If you continue, you'll also experience the feeling of triumph over limitations in the proxy. These experiences will allow you to grow as an individual, and will equip you with the necessary skills to deal with situations of unjust occurrences in real life in the future.

So yeah....... rah rah go go camquartr!

ya know, i had the same problem, but then, i just think to myself "since you learned to take care of your tracks, you won't make that mistake ever again" and it makes me feel better and in a few days i start playing lr again. i know how hard it is to think about that, but soon you'll get over it.

Only motivation I can give you is that you're aweshome.

Usually the sooner you just jump back into it, the better. Once you get started on it again, if you start right away, you become very goal-oriented. Usually for me it goes about twice as fast the second time

On the other hand, if you wait more than a couple days, it's extremely difficult to ever motivate yourself again for that particular thing...

Aaah, I hate when that happens!

This has happened to me two times. Something that explains why I only have 3 or 4 scened tracks.

Its hard to rescene a track. For me, its impossible. My limit is 10k lines.

Try to get new inspiration, set on your favorite music and think how epic it's gonna be after you have finnished it. Don't push you trough it, tough.
