Colorblind ~ rabid

I got the idea for this track back in December. Finally actually made it this week, thanks to LRA. Sort of a present for my girlfriend.

This is actually my first-ever complete naked track release that I have no intention of scening. So that's cool. Rabid does naked tracks now, I guess.

There is some tricky track splitting/editing stuff I did that you can sorta see in the color replay. Sorta hard to explain but let's just say... you never see a previous part of the track in the recording, even though he crosses through the same areas many times. And if you download the file you will have to delete lines, mark flags past them, and then undelete them to get to the end of the track.

That was such a sweet track! I feel bad now that I'm gonna make a parody version, but we've talked about it already and it's too hilarious not to do, so I'll consider it an affectionate nod.

I really liked how you executed it. It wasn't a perfect flatsled, but it didn't have to be. It had a level of raw emotion I appreciated very much.

I think this track is definitely a step in the right direction if you're planning on making any more bare tracks, and it also appears to be proof of the power of LRA-- getting a scener to make a bare track! Color me surprised.

I tried to watch it without music at first just for fun to see if it was emotional, but nope.

I can really feel those wavey flatsled lines. Like physically feel them. It tickles. You created a very emotional enviorment with the perfect song. Has this even been done before to this extent?

^ Not to my knowledge. The tracks I listed as inspirations were sort of moving in this direction though.
EDIT: well you could say Blue Champion, Jam, even Handlebars but I feel like those were based much more heavily on tricks
EDIT2: I keep thinking of more. Explosivo, eden 2, sylveon, gospel, intro, marble soda, no one dreams anyway, limitations, secrets, supersonic motion. I suppose the idea with this track was to do the music sync without any real tricks though, and sleepyhead/phantasmagoric heart/blissful memories are the only tracks I know moving in that direction

Rabid that was so cool. :') I loved it.

I found myself clenching and unclenching along with the flow of the track. Had a big smile on the whole time. The idea of the hills was pretty creative and you executed it really well.
