Re: [OTDE]-- Aria
did i really just sit through a 5 min video within realising, yes I did
this was enjoyably relaxing, one flying line but other wise the scenery was good, i personally would of put in some shading to give more depth
i want more good sir, and may i interest you in a possible collab?

That was some cool recycling yo, had that AC vibe to it. Really neat idea
A little bit too artsy for me, though. I just like technical stuff more.

I like technical stuff more as well but I have so much to say about this that you probably would like to hear. unfortunately, I have work
let me just say this before I write my review
OILY MARKS APPEAR ON WALLS WHERE PLEASURE MOMENTS HUNG BEFORE US THE TAKEOVER THE SWEEPING INSENSITIVITY OF THIS SWEEEEET LIIIIIIFE HIDE AND SEEK
I wanted to lengthen those words to true 800% length but hell I can't at the moment because time
I loved this

Well, that was something. It was quaint. There was so much inspiration from sleepyhead. Some of the parts looked exactly alike. I enjoyed most of it. I did get a bit bored of the slow recycles at the end, but that's probably just me being impatient. Good job on this.

Re: [OTDE]-- Aria
I guess I was already in the mood, but that was amazing! Super meditative, and it felt like telling a story, because bosh kept on slowly working his way to higher levels of consciousness even if he had to redo his path. And the ending is so perfect, like bosh is looking up at what he will achieve next. I especially like that last big recycle, with bosh just barely missing the loop.
Re: [OTDE]-- Aria
I have feelings that I felt that I want to write down so you know how I feel about this track, but it's kinda difficult to explain, but I think everyone knows what I'm talking about. I think this is probably one of the best examples of how the choice of sound really affects how people feel during a track. Not to say that your track layout didn't contribute to the vibe, because it was just as relaxing to watch as the song was to listen to. I kind of wish you did something else with the presentation of the track, possibly in the editing, just to add a little something else to this, but I'm also glad you didn't overdo anything.
Also, is this an actual audiotrack, or did you use paulstretch on something else to achieve this effect?

the quick bursts broke the immersion of a calm track, otherwise pretty adorable

I always loved that feel you get when watching a track where you just zone out from relaxation, and then you go back to watch the track again because you missed half of it in your state of bliss. Really soothing stuff, had that sleepyhead vibe 2.0.

Wow, I love this. So nice to see a simple track concept executed very well, and I always like long tracks, so this is great. The one part that took me out of it was 4:10, but I get that it was a recycle, so that's just nitpicking. I hope to see more new ideas like this done, as it is a nice break from all of the crazy technical stuff going on now.
And yeah, I totally recognize that paulstreched Hide and Seek.

Re: [OTDE]-- Aria
This wasn't so much a track as it was an experience. I watched it on mute once just out of curiosity, and I have to admit I found it really underwhelming, even as flatsled recycling tracks go. However, I know that that's not the point of this... thing, and with the music, it's definitely an artwork, and a quite enjoyable one at that.
Adding this to my list of stuff to watch while thoroughly stoned.
EDIT: Also I don't know if that little reflection-effect bar thingy at the bottom of the screen was intentional but got DAMN it adds so much to the track that you don't even notice at first viewing. I really hope you deliberately did that, goes to show you're even more of a friggin editing genius than I thought before, which is saying something

As for a review:
This track moved me. I was bugging out over a lot of stressful things in my life and I watched this and it calmed me down. It was hypnotic. I felt what seemed to be tears bubbling up. I have watched it three times since and I will continue to watch it when I am sad or I need a lift. It will be my stronghold.
This kind of track will speak to the outside world.
I don't know why, but it will.

Bosh travels into new lands and finds himself at home.
also, was that a slowed down version of hide and seek - imogen heap? sounds like it

Re: [OTDE]-- Aria
This track is meditative.
Sleepyhead, Trance, Driftwood are other tracks that give this type of feeling imo and the music indeed has a lot to do with it.
I think it's like that with a lot of cases, that the Line Rider track compliments the music.
Anyway, very nice experience and you managed to get some nice recycles and pops in there. I kind of agree with Chuggers though that the sudden bursts of speed from acceleration lines sometimes killed the overall meditative feeling.

It's cool that you tried something like this, and I don't want to discourage you to keep experimenting, but I quit watching halfway through. Too few moments were original/cool enough to keep my attention. I feel like this was made as a boredom killer made in a few goes, and that this could've been much better had you really put your mind to it.
Sorry, might be my mood.

Re: [OTDE]-- Aria
Oh my god THAT WAS SO COOL.
This is weird, but this track pumped me up so much. Others mentioned that they found it meditative, but because I'm into recycling and this kinda shit, I was literally leaning forward, super into it. I actually clapped at my screen once in the middle of it. This was a rare video in which I didn't move my mouse cursor even once to see how much longer the video was.
First off, that music. Wow. I don't know if you synced it on purpose or if it just ended up working pretty well, but the music made the track super intense. I think these types of slow, atmospheric songs are awesome, because they work both for slow and fast tracks in my mind. With the intermittent super fast curves, I was clenching and super excited to see where Bosh was going.
During the first part, as I'll call it, I thought it was really cool how Bosh went progressively up and up. And then around 2 minutes in I saw a glimpse of an exit, and I was like "it must be almost over." But then he hopped into a 2nd section and I was literally like "OHHGHHHHHAGHUGHHH" out loud. Another memorable moment was at 4:44 when he was riding up the straight line, and I saw a glimpse of a pair of curves. That's when I actually clapped at my monitor and got super hyped. I was hoping there was more. Unfortunately for me, that was the ending. Haha.
Man. So, dat recycling. All of the recycling made it super satisfying when Bosh finally progressed to the next part. Built a lot of suspense. And the recycles themselves, to me, were impressive. There were a few that you used 4 or more times, and that's always awesome.
This is definitely one of my top 10 favorite tracks. Inspiring me to try something similar. Awesome job, bro!
