Marble Soda - shua
Link because embedding it messes up the music for some reason.
OTDEdit: I can't tell if the audio is messed up, but you can try this. Feel free to delete it if it doesn't work.
- Stuff about the track:
- Stats:
~2:40:00 Length
5855 Lines
2404 Blue
615 Red
2836 Green
Top Speed: 357.015 ppf
Leaves tube at 351 ppf
Flings at ~270 ppf
Top speed hit after the flippy flips in the nose manual.
This was the first track I've made where I specifically tried not to think about what other people would want to see in a track. All of my other tracks were me wanting to get praise, but I ignored that in this one and put in what I wanted to put in rather than what gets the most praise. If I wanted to make a weak fling, I would make a weak fling. From a technical standpoint, there are a lot of parts in this track that I really don't like, but I'm trying not to worry about them because it was fun to make and that was the point.
Also, some things at the end were rushed. I might end up taking my time with the editing and using Final Cut instead of Apple "The Awful" iMovie. I'd also like to go in and try and make the animation a bit smoother. The music syncing was giving me real trouble. I just need to let OTDE do it next time, that's what needs to happen.

That animation/high speed bit made me smile. Fun track.

Lots of words popped into my head as watched this track:
Fun
Awesome
Exciting
Enjoyable
Cute
But what really sold me was the animation. Really awesome to look at, and really uplifting. There were parts that I wish were more controlled, but honestly, they didn't need to be! Good work

That track really made me smile!
It was just such a lovely track, showed how your skill progressed whilst making the track and I enjoyed the variety of skill in a way:P
Genuinely fell in love with that animation, it was really well done, the timing of the little lines actually gave it 'feeling' if you get me, haha!
Awesome track man!

wow, good job, you have patience of steel to do those fast flings, unlike myself where i get bored from doing 5 frames, how fast were they? and great job on the animation it was good

Oh yeah! Forgot to add some stats. I'll edit them into the original post.
Edit: 357 if you're still curious.

I did feel that the slower stuff was a bit messy. It didn't quite feel cohesive with some of the flings switching contact points constantly. Still I really enjoyed the animation and it's probably the best so far.

tracking the camera to boshs shoulder might be one of the smartest things ever done

This was just absolutely delightful. I personally loved the music choice. I heard so many references to other songs in the music and I enjoyed that.
The track was phenominal! Loved your animation that you added. Want to highlight that the animations felt very snappy and have a feeling of life to them. Which is what SCG didn't really have in his, there was a sense of life to the simple lines you created and I really picked up on that.
Great stuff.

m8 w0t. The animation worked so well with the music, and the story it told hit right in the feels.
You do things your way. I hope your journey leads to perfection of the already quite distinct shua-style.

Re: Marble Soda - shua
Did you never update your version of 3.4.X or did you specifically choose to follow the shoulder?
And I loved that fakie tailie into foot fling thing.

When I figured out you could change the camera, I tried all of them and then forgot which one was the normal one and left it like that because I thought it looked normal enough. I did update, but I just messed up the settings and didn't notice a difference.

Oh my gosh this was awesome :D:D:D:D:D:D:D
It's by no means a technical masterpiece, but it really didn't have to be. I had a hell of a lot of fun just watching it, and I can tell from the clever animations and transitions in flow that you definitely had fun making it as well, which is by and large the most important thing.
Thank you based Shawn Wasabi

I JUST saw this, as well! Ihave been catching up on my tracks. The animation...oh god, it was too short! The track itself was also bubbly and brilliant and fun and had a WONDERFUL pace, not to mention incredible syncing. IMO Funspiration has been expanded upon.
Also, the camera on shoulder made it ten times more enjoyable. I was skeptical at first, but I immediately became enthralled when the bounciness came into play.

Why did nobody tell me to watch THIS when I came back to WRTL? This was fantastic to watch, not the most technical stuff out there but very good nonetheless. Very much reminds me of my style and what I like to make. I can honestly say I enjoyed the whole thing, and am not surprised it was featured. Great stuff for sure!
