Edited the two videos side by side. During a transition, I took a still frame, edited bosh out, and used a slide transition to push it over. Did the same thing on the other video and moved on. This is why we could only make the effect work with vertical and horizontal lines and airtime.

Wow, that was really interesting to watch. Quite nice. The music and everything fit so well together.

Besides from this being the most creative presentation of a track ever, i really like the multiline manual stuff!!

This was no expection at all, and the concept was brilliant. Simply brilliant.

Re: Telephoto: Opal and OTDE
Ehh.
I like the idea of creating two seperate clips and making Bosh 'jump' from clip to distinguish each part (at least that's what I assume this is), but honestly I didn't feel this one. The transitions distracted me from watching what's going on, and the fact that this was all just one track made the transitions feel unnecessary and made me think "why make part transitions complicated when you can make them easy".
I guess the main point I'm trying to make that it's good to have out-of-the-box ideas and execute them, but you've got to make sure that your idea is actually complementary to the experience. You could've implemented some much cooler effects with this if you made something among the lines of Live And Let Die and changed gravity, direction or whatever else you can come up with.
The track itself was really awesome and contained lots of creative moves, props on that. I hope this critique isn't discouraging because I admire your abilities to just go out and try new things, and I certainly want you guys to keep on doing so.
Sidenote: Colour playback, yes. Hit detection playback, no.

If you didn't like it when you thought that the changes were based around part transition, you're going to like it even less when you find out that the transitions were just randomly scattered throughout the track. The entire idea was based around a video that my aunt showed me, and said "Hey, it would be cool if you could make a track like this. " So I did. But I do appreciate the input.

What you've written is a short summary of concerns Opal and I had about releasing this. Part of what contributed to that were the limitations of the software and hardware we used. Thanks for your criticism, though, it'll influence the direction I take future projects (say, Opal, how does making Panorama sound?)

Hah, while we're going the extra mile, let's build a 360 degree computer monitor as well.

I really enjoyed the track, and I loved the experimentation with the camera/screen as a medium. But, similar to Rafael, I don't understand why you combined this particular track with the concept. I feel that, if you made a simple flatsled track, the camera work would be more appreciable.
In any case, I do believe that controlling the camera has a lot of potential, and this demonstrates one application of camera work.
