i suggest everyone use the .25x speed on the youtube player for a more full preview experience

I may have just broke new ground in the area of 'animated scenery' in linerider . Anyway, I'm up to 3:27 of 3:55 now. Also reached 200 pixels per frame and will attempt to keep it above 100 ppf for a good portion of the rest of the track.

oh geez that'll be hard. welcome to the club! it takes so long to do animations but I think without a sync in mind I could make more

I actually used the duplicate line glitch to get him up to speed.

Ok so progress has been quite slow these past couple weeks. Right now I'm at 3:35 of 3:55 total and have about1.5 seconds left of this current section and progress will hopefully pick up at least a little bit once that's done. (max speed is now at 450ppf)

so obviously you are speeding him up some way other than freefall you dont gain 150 in freefall in 5 seconds

I was finally able to complete the second to last section. One more to go (hyperspeed quirk). As for an update, it looks like the speed is maxing out at just over 500ppf, I don't want to give away too much how I managed it yet, but bosh is actually traveling up during the time he's accelerating from 160 ppf to over 500ppf, so ya, complete opposite of a free fall. Also, the non scenery line count is currently at just over 7k lines, and I ran in to a little complication with making the track. I don't think it's a corrupted sol that I know of, but flash player 10 (which is what I've been using) has been crashing randomly when I press play while other times it works fine. However, when I tried all other versions of flash I can get a hold of, fp11,13, and fp17 flash player consistently just exits at a certain part in the track without giving any kind of error. even after trying kevens' recording feature on his most recent version of 3.4.x. However, if I use fp 10 to get past that point all other fp versions I've tried crashes, put the flag down, then switch to a newer version of fp and play the track from there, it works fine. (at 3:36 of 355 now and I hope to be able to release this beast by the end of next week)

I made some really good progress over the weekend and am now at 3:43 of 3:55 and at this rate I should be able to have this out some time this week.

I think this preview thread will ruin the track for some people because its very hyped and everyone (including me) is very excited about it but as a consequence there are enormous expectations. I hope the track will match our self created hype.

I also hope I didn't hype it up too much. However, I created this thread to really help motivate me to keep working on this project and see it to completion. Hopefully it does live up to the hype when I am able to release the final product.
