Re: WCC Project: Blackheart (Former LCC EB3 track)
OKAY
just did a quick recording of this thing and the sections look gorgeous with the music sync - we are really setting ourselves up for an epic track here.
Only thing that doesn't sync is shotoku's gravity roll, it's like a full second early (and too intense). I'm just gonna cut that loss and move on, it should be okay.
Okay, instructions for this next bit. we need to slow him down as smoothly and subtly as possible and then start the next section at 1:20 (1:34 in the sync video). I'm thinking his overall speed should be pretty slow but more importantly the pace of the track should be not-intense. listen to the song and you'll see what I mean. However, I don't want it to be boring, so creativity should be high on the list here. Good luck
At 1:35-1:37 (1:50-1:52 in the video) there is a little suspended string moment so it could be like, slightly smoother/faster/less rotation right there. Then at 1:37 (1:52 in the video) it kinda repeats so we could have a style shift here of some kind. And then at 1:51-1:55 (2:06-2:10 in the video) we have that ascending string line so this is when we want to speed up into the modern quirk section.
All in all this section will be about 30 seconds long. I am totally fine with someone doing the first half and someone else doing the second half, or even having different people do the transitions. (or even dividing it further as long as each half is coherent)
Ghosty, you up for doing the 1:17-1:20 transition (smooth/subtle slowdown)?

EDIT: progress bar added to OP (each dash is 3 seconds)
Progress bar: 46%
--------------------------x------------------------------
EDIT2: alternately, we could slow him down super suddenly right at the drum beat at 1:33... think it's at like 1:18;20 in the track? that might actually work better...
EDIT3: Okay, change of plan for this tumbling transition. at 1:18;25 we want non-gravity smooth-rotation clean-looking tumbling for a maximum of 40 frames, to get him from 40ppf to about 10ppf. I think Opal will be doing it shortly.
I think it might be a good idea to modify the end of getthim's part so that you are on the other side of the manual he passes through by 1:18;25 (ideally we wouldn't even see the part were's going to do next while the previous part is happening)

Re: WCC Project: Blackheart (Former LCC EB3 track)
So Opal kinda said he could do it in the chat and then disappeared and never posted.
Anyone else want to? only read the stuff after EDIT3 in the above post. It's like 1 second of track.

Re: WCC Project: Blackheart (Former LCC EB3 track)
I'll take it if it's my turn in the sync vid I guess

I didn't dissappear, I thought we had just discussed it in chat already. If HP wants to do it he can, if no, I can still take it, and make sure to post here for it.

Re: WCC Project: Blackheart (Former LCC EB3 track)
whoever gets it done first gets the part it's like 1 second of track so idrc who does it as long as someone does and I like it.
Re: WCC Project: Blackheart (Former LCC EB3 track)
SO I talked to opal and it sounded like he would rather hp do it
and I explicitly asked opal to post and say that hp could take it and he told me that he had but he obviously didn't
anyway, hp, go for it. I suppose it is your turn in the sync vid anyway here's the goal for the tumbling bit:
feel free to try making more if you like in the next section. not sure where ghosty is and if he is (still) going to take it. instructions for the section:

Beautiful! Love it!
GhostY, if hp's alt quirk start is "too good" aka too powerful/intense for you to match well, feel free to delete it. I'll PM you so you know you can take it!

Re: WCC Project: Blackheart (Former LCC EB3 track)
looks good!
I made a little test recording:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBV57cGErW0
I want to comment on how to me, it seems to get more intense at 0:08 (in this video). I like how 0:02 through 0:08 fits with the music, and less so with 0:08 through 0:12. (especially because the music sort of relaxes in the latter bit)
I would like to you keep working on this to get through about 1:36 or 1:37 (this part is 1:20 through about 1:29, so 6-7 moreseconds). Hope a timeframe of about 7-10 days is reasonable to expect that by?

I need a bit more time if that's okay.
