Re: WCC Project: Blackheart (Former LCC EB3 track)
Not bad! I think that'll work nicely.
Shotoku, want to do the transition into the next section?

Holy snot, when did Getthim learn to high speed like this?
Sure I'll take it again, sorry for kinda not keeping up with this :/

Re: WCC Project: Blackheart (Former LCC EB3 track)
hm okay we just need some kind of spinny/tumble thing synced to the music for the next second or two. anyone want to try it?
Re: WCC Project: Blackheart (Former LCC EB3 track)
I think I'll take that as a no. Anyone else?
Basically we need one second of tumbling/gravity stuff into more manuals (faster manuals perhaps?) from 0:59 to 1:00. Delete part of the last manual that goes into 0:59.
EDIT: okay now shotoku is working on it

Re: WCC Project: Blackheart (Former LCC EB3 track)
Looks good!
Tumble is a little earlyish but I can totally fudge the timing to be like, 41fps in one section and 39fps in another since youtube only plays 30fps anyway and it will look totally fine. Might have to fudge earlier sections like that too anyway.
Okay so, status on the track. We are done through 1:01 which means we have approximately 17 seconds of slightly-faster simple manuquirk to do here. I can maybe do it but I know a lot of other people who could do it better. It needs to feel big and dramatic and not very intense yet. Getthim's part was great for that section but I think it needs to step up a level for this section (in terms of flow and smoothness, mostly). That said, don't feel like you have to make 17 seconds. you could totally make like, 3 or 4 seconds and post that and I'd be like "WOOOOOOOO" so yeah.

if you do, not the "flow and smoothness" emphasis
...but honestly I will be happy with anything probably haha

Re: WCC Project: Blackheart (Former LCC EB3 track)
The emphasis on those words is exactly why I won't take it; I can't make a substantial length of track on this computer quickly, and I certainly can't make smooth track unless at Mom's and uninterrupted at the computer for like days.
Seriously like 4 seconds of smooth track would take a month and I'd be too bored.

lot of recent activity lately so I'm bumping this in case anyone is interested. Would love to see someone progress on this one.

Re: WCC Project: Blackheart (Former LCC EB3 track)
it's great
manuals are nicely balanced and smooth. the fling that evolves from hand to spidey to nose is great, looks nice and smooth and keeps the momentum going perfectly. The fling at the very end I don't care for - I think it would benefit you greatly to pick a contact point and stick with it for the duration of the fling (spidey and hand are easiest) because it looks a ton smoother and more consistent and it's also easy to continue. Pay attention to the rotation of bosh and this will help you be able to continue them.
Keep going please?

Re: WCC Project: Blackheart (Former LCC EB3 track)
I wish I could take this but I want somebody else to so I can bust out the chops on the midspeed quirk. I can do compact but am hoping somebody else will take this.

Re: WCC Project: Blackheart (Former LCC EB3 track)
gonna make a little test recording of this and make sure we start the next section at just the right time and also want to figure out how long I want this section to be (I kind of want a slow/smooth style shift somewhere in this section because the music repeats a bunch before it starts building into the epic ending)
in general though we're looking for compact-er, but also chill. but still entertaining. I think non XY so it doesn't look so rigid/intense. Maybe a slow alt or progressive part. Shouldn't be too fancy. GhostY yeah I think you'd be perfect.
Will post definite instructions soon!
