help boo with a pathetic problem

i have firefox, and everytime i clear cache, localhost contents are deleted. how to fix?

edit: offline website data maybe?

Yea i'm guessing it is the offline folder, i'll make a backup and try it.

I use Chrome, and I once cleared my cookies just to find that all of my .sols got deleted in the process. I'm not sure how to prevent this, other than painstakingly uploading every .sol that you want to keep to mediafire.

everytime you clear the cache make a backup of the full localhost folder elsewhere on your computer. easy. dunno why cereal finds it difficult?

actually I don't think it's the cache I think it's cookies. from my experience.

Just delete it and straight after right click on your appdata folder and restore previous versions.

download another browser and watch your porn in there

Use incognito mode so that you don't have to clear your cache after you watch your porn.

People don't realize that cookies are a form of cache in the first place. Cache is defined as a predetermined space that is to store temporary, or frequently changing information. So your RAM is a form of cache, and so are your cookies, because cookies aren't meant to stay on forever, or they are changed constantly because we access them a lot (Localhost). Sol cookies never leave, because of the fact they are more location specific, and you have to go directly to the swf associated with them in order to access them. Other cookies come an go depending on the website or ad you run into. So clearing your cache means clearing cookies too.

Well, occasionally I have to clear my cookies because if I don't do that for a few months, my internet wacks out on me and sometimes won't let me sign into YouTube or something.

When I go to clear history in firefox or chrome, there is a checkbox for "cache" and a checkbox for "cookies". Clearing the cache does not delete .sols. Clearing cookies does.

Beyond that, what does it matter?
