It's been something like four years since I've been here, and two since I've touched LR. And now I'm back from outer space. I wonder how out of touch I am with current tricks.

Why thank you. I won't be sticking around for long, unfortunately; I leave for basic military training on September 4. Hopefully I'll hang around until then, though, and I'll probably end up gravitating back again at some point afterward.

I have no idea what any of those things are, unless that one thing in Jam where sled guy lies flat on a line and then pops up after a bit is a kramual. Is there something like the old tricks dictionary around?

The glitch is achieved by smashing Bosh into a perfectly horizontal or vertical line at a time when he is exactly parallel to the line at a speed that will normally cause him to go off-sled. This causes his body and arm to flatten against the sled, and for him to stay in that position until something (usually a gravity well) pulls him out of it or knocks him off-sled.

Hedgehogs4Me coined the term "kramual".

This glitch quickly became used in tracks frequently, and sparked a controversy over whether or not it ought to be. Georgio_Jc was the first to use the glitch in a track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJg7RADV62A#t=00m48s

It can be done upward or downward, on his head or on his feet, horizontally or vertically. It is usually a challenge to get Bosh out of a kramual without going off-sled, because if he runs off the end of the line he is on he will fall off, but it is easily possible with gravity wells. It is possible to achieve a kramual in which Bosh does not stick to the line (though he stays in the flattened position) if it is done in an upward or vertical direction.
