epic omniverse style collab.

This is kind of an idea I've been having recently and though I would post it here as an option for a serious collab as the only other projects I see are either non serious or on scenery.

BasicallyI think it would be fun to do a huge 3:00 plus track that would feature a whole bunch of different styles: xy, manual, quirk, high speed, alt, manuquirk, but more specifically break each one up more as all of these have different flavors in themselves along with a few less known styles like micro quirk. One more thing is we could also include some scenery sections.

36 to 43 = modern/midspeed quirk.-done

44 to 47 = slow down for xy.-done

48 to 68 = xy-done

69 to 82 = fling quirk/quirk - done

83 to 118 = midspeed manuals gearing up for high speed - done

119 to 152 = highspeed - in progress

153 to 162 = slow down.

163 to 173 = alt quirk

174 to 184 = mid speed quirk.

185 to 187 = slow down

188 = stall and fade out

Um.... let's just worry about EoLRS atm.

and @ cereal what are the people who don't scene much going to do? they could work on this (since we're pretty close to being done with most of our other projects) and also i assume its going to take a while for each individual to scene their section because it has to be just right and fit in with the time period.

so i say we should do this

I think we should have some sort of plan instead of just "do lots of styles" - that makes it different from EoLR, and different from a diverse clan track.

if this actually gets off the ground I will make sure it never dies.

I can do quirk, I need to do something in LCC...

I can do manuals or possibly xy / alt, but preferably manuals

Sorry for being so pessimistic, it's just that I know how these sort of things go.

I'll do manuquirk, since that hasn't been taken yet. I could also do alt quirk if no one else offers.

I can do anything slow-ish =)

O was thinking along those same lines.

Also, I'm all for having more than one person per general style to add variety.

I'm also open to some good music suggestions which could be used as inspiration while we plan out this track.

Finally, what do you all think about starting this thing off with some semi dense xy that could be scened leading to some unscened higher speed xy like what Votale did in Roborant?

I will admit doing bits of scenery here and there when apropriate could make it seem unfinished, though on the other hand, if done right it could look very cool and would also allow one person to scene a section of track even before the track itself is finished. (one possibility would be to scene the start, have a section of scenery in the middle of the track (maybe have a mid to low speed manual or manuquirk here) and finish the track off with scenery. maybe have each section be roughly 20 seconds, or if we find an epic song maybe time each section change after the song.

Empowered Unity did the "bits of scenery" thing, and it was a masterpiece.

Is the current list you have in the predicted order of each part?

the list just represents who's interested in what as I haven't decided on a specific order.

Manuals or alt works for me.

just saying, when I meant "quirk," I didn't mean any of that fast speed crazy stuff. SCG, you know my style XD I'm more comfortable with slow/mid speed progressive quirk, compact quirk, and manuquirk. I can also do xys too if one more xyer is needed

oh yeah i'm down for scenery and like a quirk type thing

though I think for this track maybe it should be all about emphasis on the lines and the styles and the scenery just enforces it, so I think we should work really hard not to cover up lines

yeah like maybe theirs a manual and we make it into a basic rail but have like an epic looking robot dinosaur holding it up

I'm really liking the interest for this. I think this will be a good time to really start looking for some epic music to guide us craft when to do each style and for how long. doesn't need to be uberly synced, but probably just enough to make it so each style change makes sense and fits with the music.

Sorry I am probably gonna be demoted. Guessing I won't be able to participate.
