Sorry for not addressing your idea, Ryder.
The problem with splitting the US into north and south is that Minnesota, New England, and New York get put together, which basically accounts for at least 50% of our user base.

Naw I wasn't >.>-ing at you not addressing my idea, it was a bad idea. but this whole thread, all ideas are split up, what should happen is that we should have a poll about HOW to split up the teams.

Minnesota could be it's own team there are quite a few of us.

What if we split up eastern/western US with the eastern border of Minnesota down to Louisiana? That also has the added benefit of giving you anomaly if he magically comes back, even if it does give Eastern the Floridans.

^ If we did it that way, yes. I know it sounds weird, but it does happen to balance the teams.
Maybe we should split it up further for the actual poll, though, just so we can recombine teams if it doesn't work.

About this. It's kinda complicated with me. I live in the US, and I was born in Thailand. But I want to play for Germany because my family is german. Never lived in Germany though. What do?

I guess I can put down a marker at my grandparents' in Germany if that's okay with you.

^ Sorry, you have to play for the US or Thailand by the current rules. I'll get back to you if we need more Euro people to balance things out, though.
"Other" might get put with Europe anyway, though, so if you put down Thailand, you'll either play for the "Other" team (probably along with Canada, Australia, and Brazil), with Team Asia (if enough people choose to play for Asia because they were born there), or with Europe.

The other thing you could do is use a specific symbol to mean it's you, and put down all 3 options. Just make sure it's a very unique symbol and no one else is using it!
