I was told by "The Orthuss" that I should drop by and say hi so here I am. HAAY Inverted Onoz


For those who either don't know who I am or have forgot me, my name is Thomas. I called my self TigerXLine or Tiger (still calling myself Tiger) and I used to play Line Rider and come here every day. I live in Norway, Østfold. I'm 18 years old and I'm studying media & Communication and I specialize me in video.

BLUE MIND:


I was mostly a scene'r and manual'er. I didn't really catch on the quirks and XY, but I did enjoy them. I uploaded something like 70-80 videos on my channel and I played Line Rider for about 3-4 years in total. I also have a price to the left for a scenery-contest I don't remember (yay, a price!).

400 LINES CONTEST:


I leaved this thread because I wanted to use my spare-time on something more important. I said I wanted to become better in video-editing, but really the only thing I did that year was to start with game-commentating. I made a new channel named TigerXLine. The new channel didn't really give me anything else than some improvements of my English-speaking skills, my knowledge of uploading videos on the web, some editing-skills and being introduced to the program After Effects and some 3D.

LAST LET'S PLAY:


I quit the TigerXLine channel and the commentating almost one year later. The reason was because I realized I have made the same mistake again: I'm not progressing in any other direction than uselessness (not quite useless).

After I ended TigerXLine, I had a little break. My second school-year had just started as well (I'm studying Media & Communication/Video). I thought about what I should do to not go back in the same trap. You know, I have this unique ability to not work for my goals and instead do lazy stuff like playing games or watching series.

Two-three months later, I came to the conclusion that I should once again start a new channel. This channel should be different, though. I could only publish stuff that was a result of me working against my goal. Today I have 13 videos on this channel. I'm already close to 1000 subscribers and 300 000 upload-views. I've worked a lot on logos and I update my viewers all the time via Twitter or Facebook. The channel's name became Uniblue Media, but I still call myself Tiger.

EVIL NATURE:


I've already received a request about becoming a partner and I will agree to this partnership-agreement (YouTube-Partner) once the contract is ready. This means I can have more control over my channel and I can actually start to earn some revenue on doing what I love: creating videos.

This isn't all. I've also been hired as a VFX artist for a upcoming series called "The Arcan Chronicles": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plnU4jZ_NEE
This meant that I had to become better at a lot of effects like sky-replacement and adding stock-footage intro recordings...

OUR WORLD:


The most important part about all this is that I have improved my editing-skills and my knowledge about creating videos drastically. I'm finally starting to get there, guys! After 4 years of dreaming and letting myself down, I've finally turned it around!

This isn't just something that will pass. I will always create videos. I always have, but now I know for sure that this is something I will work for. One day, I will sit home or in a studio and create videos and edit for a living. That's my highest goal. Nothing goes past this.

What I'm trying to say is that do not give up. I know everyone has goals. Goals that most likely are hard to achieve. I still haven't reached mine, but I'm on the right path.

I don't regret being here at this forum. You guys have always been awesome and it amazes me that you still do what you love.



Well, sh*t! I just wrote my ass off, didn't I? Well, "The Orthuss", I guess you could say I did something more that just dropping by.

Thanks to everyone for everything! Even you newcomers who don't know me (wut?). I hope this thread keeps rolling and that you guys keep sharing and judging each other and having a good time together.
