I really love piano and I wish I had one to play myself. I play guitar (and piano, but I VERY RARELY get the chance to play one) by ear and my friends that have been playing guitar for like 7 years say I'm better than them after <1 year. Same thing applies for singing; I tried out for a very selective chorus here at Pitt and the leader said that my voice is awesome and was surprised I haven't been in choruses before, but I can't read sheet music (because I do everything by ear/never had a reason to learn lawl) so he had to reject me. He told me if I took a music theory course/learned to read sheet music by next year, that I'd basically definitely get in. So I'm gonna do that.



Sorry, just thought I'd ramble to you because you can relate/appreciate it. I'm glad you're doing well, and I wish you the best of luck with the piano. You should stop by and post some of your playing in the off topic section some time.

I played when I was in elementary school, but dropped once I hit middle school after losing interest. I probably should of stuck with it, but I just hated having to practice everyday.
