An Arcade Here

I promise you I am not doing this for power, I am doing this for the community.. Looking through the suggestions thread i saw people wanted an arcade. So I thought it would be fun to make one and played around with forumotion to see if it was possible. I saw that certain usergroups are allowed to have special powers to specific threads and sections. Then I decided to make this post. If anyone could make a section (the arcade) with sub sections(game genres) and user group(im not doing this to have my name colored you could make it grey for all I care) I would be honored to run the arcade alone or with maybe 3 others who would also like to run it. The reason for the usergroups you may ask? Well the idea that anyone can post games is nuts. People could easily spam the arcade and post inapropiete games everyone would hate that. I have a sense of whats appropiete and what isnt. Thats why The game mods should only be allowed to post there.. also we could make a request a game thread so anyone can request games where to get it and info on it.

This is only a suggestion, not searching for power I promise.

I know how to make the games work if you need help just pm me or something.......

If there is arcade people will be too busy playing the games and then they won't have time to post on the forum or make lineriders which would cause linerider to decrease in popularity even more.

not really. i can post games fast plus people can easily take a break from IRTL with out actually leaving it keeping more people in. when people see there are more people in here then they come in... several times when im about to log in i see nobody on so i dont bother getting on.

You can't be going for power, it got deleted when this Irtl was amde

Honestly, I don't think we need one, but it is always great to be able to spend a few minutes (or hours if you have no life) doing something other than LR, to cool down from intense track making or something.

Wouldn't you just go to newgrounds or kongregate? 0.o

Well, we seem to be managing fine with spam/inappropriate stuff ATM. I don't think the arcade is a bad thing though.

How about I give you an arcade section in Off Topic but no mod powers, and you report any posts that are rule-breaking? You can also report something if it needs to be stickied, closed, or moved, and PM us if we don't respond in 24 hours.

Sound good? (staff/elites will still have to discuss this btw)

^ when nobody's on, that doesn't mean nobody's posted...

I don't think an arcade is necessary for a Line Rider site at all, let alone a temporary site such as this one. This site is only going to be around until the other IRTL is fixed, so I don't think an added arcade would last long.
