Streaming

So yeah, I've had this idea of making an official Line Rider stream.
Mostly intended for sceners, but also for trackmakers.

You see, most of the tracks we make we probarly do in a "A dark and stormful night, in the darkest room of the basement."
If you know what I mean, since I doubt you guys do it at parties and such. So I'm pretty sure people would be making tracks more if they streamed it at the same time. And people would learn how other people does stuff, and hell, they might even learn something.Though, if I were to be making some kind of stream, who would participate?

So yeah... discuss.

I've tried it with a couple of people watching, works out great, really.

yeah I remember when you live-streamed once, it was awesome. Really I enjoyed it very much and it's definitely interesting to see how other people play the game

This sounds like a very interesting idea to make a stream and we might get fetured again, one day.

Weird, yeah, it's true that people somehow can perform better if they're at least talking to someone or something like that. I know I had some of my biggest inspirations when talking to people on skype or something.
I already have a justin.tv account, since I was planning on streaming Starcraft 2 a bit, but line rider works too. I can make an account on livestream.com too.
I would livestream a bit too, maybe It'll probably help me improve. Maybe I can even get a free bit of coaching from the comments .

EDIT: I can try setting up an experimental livestream tomorrow. Maybe at around 8 PM EST or so.

Streaming games with a lot going on like ^sc2 is more entertaining than watching lines being drawn though it could be an interesting idea. Also, streaming puts additional strain on your computer, for everyone else who is thinking about streaming while scening your 400000 line track T_T

How exactly does this work? how do you get it to broadcast your computer screen rather than a webcam?

There's a program called procaster, which is like a recorder that records your desktop and streams it online.

I'm working on it, though i need a logo (300x300px), a banner (960×80 px) and a description.
